REMOTE MANAGEMENT OF CAPTURED IMAGE SEQUENCE
A system that can enable remote monitoring and/or compliance determination by viewing sequences of images captured during an event is disclosed. For example, the innovation can employ captured event sequences to enable a viewer or third party to assess a subject's activities and/or actions. The granularity of the capture of event sequences can be programmed and triggered based upon sensory data. The system also provides mechanisms to locate images or sequences, playback images or sequences or images as well as to set compliance parameters associated with a preference or life style.
1 . A system that facilitates remote monitoring of an individual, comprising:
an event recorder component that captures a plurality of images associated with an event, the event represents an interval in the individual's activity; and
an interface component that enables a viewer to remotely access a subset of the images associated with the event.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising an event management component that facilitates remote access to the subset of the plurality of the images.
3 . The system of claim 2 , further comprising a remote monitoring component that facilitates the viewer to monitor the events in real-time.
4 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a playback configuration component that facilitates configuration of the subset of the images in accordance with a user preference.
5 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a playback filtering component that facilitates selection of the subset of images.
6 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a compliance management component that facilitates establishing compliance criteria and comparing the subset of the images to the compliance criteria to make a compliance determination.
7 . The system of claim 6 , further comprising a compliance tracker component that automatically tracks compliance of the event as a function of the subset of the images in view of the compliance criteria.
8 . The system of claim 7 , further comprising a notification component that generates an alert that advises a viewer of a deviation by the individual as a function of the compliance criteria.
9 . The system of claim 7 , further comprising a report generation component that generates a report that identifies the compliance as a function of the compliance criteria.
10 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising an event analysis component that dynamically analyzes the subset of images as a function of third-party generated compliance criteria and establishes a compliance determination based upon the analysis.
11 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a sensor component that gathers information that triggers image capture via the event recorder component.
12 . The system of claim 11 , the sensor component includes at least one of a physiological and an environmental sensor component.
13 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising an event annotation component that employs information to annotate the subset of the images; the annotation facilitates compliance determination via analysis of the subset of the images.
14 . The system of claim 11 , the information includes at least one of activity information, medication information, exercise information, time/date information, environmental data or physiological data.
15 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a trigger criteria creation component that facilitates establishment of triggering criteria which is employed to prompt capture of the plurality of images.
16 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a compliance criteria creation component that enables establishment of the compliance criteria.
17 . A method of monitoring activity of an individual, comprising:
capturing a sequence of images associated with an action of the individual;
remotely accessing a subset of the images associated with the action; and
determining compliance of the action represented within the subset of images as a function of a predefined compliance criterion.
18 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising:
establishing triggering criteria which prompts capture of the sequence of images; and
establishing the compliance criterion used to determine compliance as a function of the subset of the images.
19 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising:
defining a querying of an event sequence store;
locating the subset of images from the event sequence store as a function of the query; and
retrieving the subset of images from the event sequence store.
20 . A system that facilitates remote access to captured images associated to a wearer of an event recorder, comprising:
means for establishing triggering criteria;
means for establishing compliance criteria;
means for capturing a sequence of images associated with an event based upon the triggering criteria;
means for annotating images with information associated with at least one of identity of the user, an environmental condition, a physiological condition, a date or a time of day;
means for remotely accessing a subset of the annotated images; and
means for automatically establishing a compliance determination as a function of content of the annotated subset of images in view of the compliance criterion.
