Abstract

New clinical parameters are reported which may serve as predictors of the hematological toxicity associated with therapeutic radiolabeled antibodies, particularly those antibodies which target lymphoma cells which have a tendency to localize to the bone marrow.

Claims (4)

1 . A method of predicting the severity of hematologic toxicity which would result from administration of a radiolabled antibody to a cancer patient deterring or decreasing such hematological toxicity, comprising:

(a) measuring the degree of bone marrow involvement in a baseline biopsy; and

(b) administering a therapeutically effective amount of non-labeled, depleting antibody if said baseline bone marrow involvement is higher than 5% such that said bone marrow involvement is decreased to less than 5%.

2 - 52 . (canceled)
