Abstract

A compound having a structure according to formula I wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , and R 5 are as defined herein, are useful as kinase inhibitors.

Claims (13)

1. A compound having a structure represented by formula I

and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof,

wherein

R 1 is H or C 1 -C 4 alkyl;

R 2 is H, hydroxyl or protected hydroxyl;

R 3 is H or C 1 -C 4 alkyl;

R 4 is H; and

R 5 is H or C 1 -C 4 alkyl.

2. A compound according to claim 1 , having a structure represented by formula (II)

3. A compound according to claim 2 , wherein R 1 is H or C 1 -C 4 alkyl and R 2 is OH or protected hydroxyl.

4. A compound according to claim 3 , wherein R 1 is H or CH 3 .

5. A compound according to claim 1 , having a structure represented by formula III:
