COMPOSITION FOR IN VIVO DELIVERY
The present invention relates to the delivery of desired compounds (e.g., nucleic acids) into cells using releasable delivery systems which include complexing nucleic acids and delivery ligands.
1 . A complex for delivering a nucleic acid to a mammal cell comprising: a nucleic acid non-covalently bound to a cationic first ligand such that the first ligand is covalently attached to a compound and the compound is non-covalently bound to a second ligand wherein the nucleic acid is releasable from the complex inside the mammal.
2 . The complex of claim 1 wherein the compound is a cyclodextrin.
3 . The complex of claim 1 wherein the first ligand consists of a polymer.
4 . The complex of claim 1 wherein the nucleic acid is selected from the list consisting of: DNA, RNA, double strand RNA, RNA oligonucleotides, ribozymes, antisense and polynucleotides.
