Abstract

An X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes a floor rotating arm which is installed at one end on a floor surface so as to be rotatable around a first rotation axis, a C-arm which is mounted on the other end of the floor rotating arm so as to be rotatable around a second rotation axis, an X-ray tube which is mounted on one end of the C-arm, an X-ray detector which is mounted on the other end of the C-arm, and a bed which has a table top provided to be movable along a longitudinal axis. The bed is placed such that the longitudinal axis is spaced apart from the first rotation axis by a predetermined distance.

Claims (17)

1. An X-ray diagnostic apparatus comprising:

a floor rotating arm having one end thereof attached to a floor surface and rotatable around a first rotation axis;

a stand unit mounted on another end of the floor rotating arm and rotatable around a second rotation axis;

an arm holder attached to the stand unit;

a C-arm attached to the arm holder and having one end attached to an X-ray generation unit, and another end attached to an X-ray detection unit;

an operation unit, including a unit which selects an imaging-system placement mode which is at least one of a head-first placement mode and a lateral placement mode, the head-first placement mode involving moving the C-arm longitudinally with respect to a subject with a head of the subject passed first, the lateral placement mode involving moving the C-arm laterally with respect to the subject, which operation unit supplies a command signal based on an operation by an operator;

a moving-mechanism driving unit which supplies a drive signal based on the command signal from the operation unit, to rotate drive the floor rotating arm and the stand unit around the first and second axes, respectively; and

a bed including a table top on which the subject is placed, and wherein the moving-mechanism driving unit supplies a drive signal based on a command signal corresponding to the head-first placement mode, to rotate the floor rotating arm around the first axis to move to a position substantially vertical to a longitudinal axis of the table top, and to rotate the stand unit around the second axis to move the C-arm to a position substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the table top.

2. The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation unit includes a unit which selects a retraction mode.

3. An X-ray diagnostic apparatus comprising:

a floor rotating arm having one end thereof attached to a floor surface and rotatable around a first rotation axis;

a stand unit mounted on another end of the floor rotating arm and rotatable around a second rotation axis;

an arm holder attached to the stand unit;

a C-arm attached to the arm holder and having one end attached to an X-ray generation unit, and another end attached to an X-ray detection unit;

an operation unit, including a unit which selects a retraction mode, which supplies a command signal based on an operation by an operator;

a moving-mechanism driving unit which supplies a drive signal based on the command signal from the operation unit, to rotate drive the floor rotating arm and the stand unit around the first and second axes, respectively; and

a bed including a table top on which the subject is placed, and wherein the moving-mechanism driving unit supplies a drive signal based on a command signal corresponding to the retraction mode, to rotate the floor rotating arm around the first axis to move to a position substantially vertical to a longitudinal axis of the table top, and to rotate the stand unit around the second axis to move the C-arm to a position substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the table top.
