Abstract
The present invention is directed to peptide analogues of glucagon-like peptide-1, the pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof, to methods of using such analogues to treat mammals and to pharmaceutical compositions useful therefore comprising said analogues.
Claims (2)
1. A method for treating obesity in a diabetic subject in need thereof, said method comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of a compound according to the formula (Aib 8,35 )hGLP-1(7-36)NH 2 (SEQ ID NO:2), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1 , in which said obesity subject is a subject with Type II diabetes.
