Abstract

A stabilized herbicidal composition, comprising a fenoxaprop ester herbicide, a salt of 2,4-D, a salt of MCPP-P and a salt of Dicamba, which may also optionally contain additional stabilizers such as triethylamine. Also disclosed is a stabilized herbicidal composition comprising a fenoxaprop ester herbicide in combination with a bromoxynil mixed ester herbicide. The stabilized herbicidal compositions of the present invention may also contain one or more surfactants and/or safeners.

Claims (17)

1. A stabilized herbicidal composition, comprising:

a fenoxaprop ester herbicide;

a salt of 2,4-D, wherein the salt of 2,4-D is a triisopropanolamine (TIPA) salt or triethanolamine salt or combinations thereof,

a salt of MCPP-P, wherein the salt of MCPP-P is a potassium salt or sodium salt or lithium salt or combinations thereof and

a salt of Dicamba, wherein the salt of Dicamba is a potassium salt or sodium salt or lithium salt or combinations thereof.

2. The stabilized herbicidal composition of claim 1 , wherein the fenoxaprop ester herbicide is fenoxaprop-p ethyl, fenoxaprop ethyl or combinations thereof.

3. The stabilized herbicidal composition of claim 1 wherein the salt of 2,4-D is a TIPA salt, the salt of MCPP-P is a potassium salt and the salt of Dicamba is a potassium salt.

4. The stabilized herbicidal composition of claim 1 wherein the herbicidal compounds are present in the ranges of about:

0.2 to about 2.0 wt % fenoxaprop-p ethyl,

2.0 to about 20.0 wt % TIPA salt of 2,4-D,

0.7 to about 8 wt % potassium salt of MCPP-P, and

0.2 to about 4.0 wt % potassium salt of Dicamba.

5. The stabilized herbicidal combination of claim 2 further comprising triethylamine.

6. The stabilized herbicidal combination of claim 5 wherein the triethylamine is present in a ratio of about 3:1 to fenoxaprop.

7. The stabilized herbicidal composition of claim 2 , wherein the herbicidal composition is selected from the group consisting of an emulsifiable concentrate, suspension concentrate, suspoemulsion and a solution.

8. The stabilized herbicidal composition of claim 2 wherein the herbicidal composition comprises at least one surfactant.

9. The stabilized herbicidal composition of claim 2 wherein the herbicidal composition was formulated using a Micro-emulsion process
