Abstract

Provided are an organic light emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof. The organic light emitting device includes a first display substrate, a second display substrate, and a first adhesive force improving member. The first display substrate includes a first substrate, a first electrode, organic light emitting patterns, a first spacer, and a second electrode. The first electrode is formed on an entire surface of the first substrate, and the organic light emitting patterns are disposed on the first electrode. The first spacer corresponds to the organic light emitting pattern and is disposed on the first electrode. The second electrode covers the organic light emitting patterns and the first spacer. The second display substrate includes a second substrate, and a first driving signal delivery part. The first adhesive force improving member electrically/physically couples the second electrode to the first driving signal delivery part.

Claims (20)

1. An organic light emitting device comprising:

a first display substrate including a first substrate, a first electrode formed on a surface of the first substrate, organic light emitting patterns disposed on the first electrode, a first spacer corresponding to the organic light emitting patterns and disposed on the first electrode, and a second electrode covering the organic light emitting patterns and the first spacer;

a second display substrate including a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a first driving signal delivery part disposed on the second substrate and facing the first spacer; and

a first adhesive force improving member for electrically/physically coupling the second electrode to the first driving signal delivery part.

2. The organic light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive force improving member covers the second electrode.

3. The organic light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive force improving member is locally disposed on a portion of the second electrode that contacts the first driving signal delivery part.

4. The organic light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the second electrode includes one selected from the group consisting of aluminum and an aluminum alloy.

5. The organic light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive force improving member includes one selected from the group consisting of In, Zn, Pb, Ca, Mg, and Sn.

6. The organic light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first electrode is formed of a transparent conductive metal oxide.

7. The organic light emitting device according to claim 6 , wherein the first electrode includes one selected from the group consisting of Indium Tin Oxide, Indium Zinc Oxide, and amorphous Indium Tin Oxide.

8. The organic light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the organic light emitting patterns comprise an electron injection layer disposed on the first electrode, an electron transport layer disposed on the electron injection layer, an organic electroluminescent layer disposed on the electron transport layer, a hole transport layer disposed on the organic electroluminescent layer, a hole injection layer disposed on the hole transport layer and connected to the second electrode.

9. The organic light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first adhesive force improving member is disposed on the first driving signal delivery part.

10. The organic light emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first display substrate comprises a second spacer disposed on the first electrode, and a connecting member covering the second spacer and connected to the first electrode, and the second display substrate comprises a second driving signal delivery part facing the second spacer, and

the connecting member is electrically/physically coupled to the second driving signal delivery part using a second adhesive force improving member.

11. The organic light emitting device according to claim 10 , wherein the second adhesive force improving member covers the connecting member.

12. The organic light emitting device according to claim 10 , wherein the second adhesive force improving member is locally disposed on a portion of the connecting member that contacts the second driving signal delivery part.

13. The organic light emitting device according to claim 10 , wherein the connecting member includes one selected from the group consisting of aluminum and an aluminum alloy.

14. The organic light emitting device according to claim 10 , wherein the second adhesive force improving member includes one selected from the group consisting of In, Zn, Pb, Ca, Mg, and Sn.

15. The organic light emitting device according to claim 10 , wherein the second adhesive force improving member is disposed on the second driving signal delivery part.

16. The organic light emitting device according to claim 10 , further comprising a sealing member for sealing the organic light emitting patterns interposed between the first and second display substrates.
