USING A SOFTWARE APPLICATION TO CONFIGURE A FOAM SPRING MATTRESS
An aspect of the present invention relates to a method and system of receiving information of a user's support facility comfort requirements; using a software application to determine a proper support facility firmness configuration to match the user's requirement; selecting foam springs with the proper user required firmness as determined by the software application; and configuring the selected foam springs within the support facility to match the user's firmness requirements.
1 . A method of foam spring configuration, comprising:
receiving information of a user's support facility comfort requirements;
using a software application to determine a proper support facility firmness configuration to match the user's requirement;
selecting foam springs with the proper user required firmness as determined by the software application; and
configuring the selected foam springs within the support facility to match the user's firmness requirements.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the support facility is selected from a list including a mattress, a pillow, a chair, a couch and an object on which a being can at least one of sit and recline.
3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the software application is a standalone application.
4 . The method of claim 3 wherein the user's information is stored as part of the standalone application.
5 . The method of claim 1 wherein the software application is a web-based application.
6 . The method of claim 5 wherein the user's information is stored in as part of the web based application.
7 . The method of claim 1 wherein the software application is a server-based application.
8 . The method of claim 7 wherein the user's information is stored in as part of the server-based application.
9 . The method of claim 1 wherein the software application receives input to determine the user's firmness requirements.
10 . The method of claim 9 wherein the input is a paper questionnaire.
11 . The method of claim 9 wherein the input is a computer questionnaire.
12 . The method of claim 9 wherein the input is an indication on a chart of the body.
13 . The method of claim 9 wherein the input is a set of preset questions.
14 . The method of claim 9 wherein the input is interactive with an answer to a first question determining a second question.
15 . The method of claim 9 wherein the software application determines at least one configuration of foam springs to match the user's firmness requirements.
16 . The method of claim 1 wherein an enterprise configures the foam spring configuration using the software application.
17 . The method of claim 1 wherein a manufacturer configures the foam spring configuration using the software application.
18 . The method of claim 1 wherein the user configures the foam spring configuration using the software application.

27 . A system of foam spring configuration, comprising:
information of a user's support facility comfort requirements;
a software application used to determine a proper support facility firmness configuration to match the user's requirement; and
foam springs selected with the proper user required firmness as determined by the software application, the selected foam springs configured within the support facility to match the user's firmness requirements.
