Abstract
The present invention is directed to a novel method for preventing or treating the development of respiratory allergies. The method comprises prenatal and/or postnatal administration of a therapeutically effective amount of LGG.
Claims (1)
1. A method for increasing the production of serum IgA antibodies in a subject, the method comprising prenatally administering and/or postnatally administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of LGG prior to allergic sensitization of the subject.
