Abstract

An aspect of the present invention relates to an online test platform adapted to facilitate the development, delivery, and management of educational tests with interactive participation by students, teachers, proctors, and administrators even when some or all of them are remotely located. The platform may include administrator interfaces, test proctor interfaces, and test taker (e.g. student) interfaces to allow each participant to view, navigate, and interact with aspects of the online test platform that are intended to meet their needs.

Claims (32)

1. A memory having non-transitory computer executable code, which is adapted to be run on at least one computing device to perform steps comprising:

storing an indication of user accommodations in a test taker profile;

polling the test taker profile in order to determine the user accommodations;

receiving an indication of a proctor approval of the user accommodations; and in response thereto, compiling a FLASH animation, which contains updates directed to providing the user accommodations, wherein the FLASH animation includes a volume setting; and

transmitting the FLASH animation to a test station.

2. The memory of claim 1 , wherein the FLASH animation includes audio.

3. The memory of claim 1 , wherein the FLASH animation includes a brightness setting.

4. The memory of claim 1 , wherein the FLASH animation includes a contrast setting.

5. The memory of claim 1 , wherein the user accommodations are determined during a test based at least in part on polling the test station.

6. The memory of claim 1 , wherein the FLASH animation includes images.

7. A memory having non-transitory computer executable code, which is adapted to be run on at least one computing device to perform steps comprising:

storing an indication of user accommodations in a test taker profile;

polling the test taker profile in order to determine the user accommodations;

receiving an indication of a proctor approval of the user accommodations; and in response thereto, compiling a FLASH animation, which contains updates directed to providing the user accommodations, wherein the FLASH animation includes a time duration; and

transmitting the FLASH animation to a test station.

8. The memory of claim 7 , wherein the test taker profile is polled prior to the test taker starting a test.

9. The memory of claim 7 , wherein the test taker profile is polled during a test.

10. The memory of claim 7 , wherein the user accommodations are determined during a test based at least in part on polling the test station.

11. The memory of claim 7 , wherein the FLASH animation includes images.

12. A memory having non-transitory computer executable code, which is adapted to be run on at least one computing device to perform steps comprising:

storing an indication of user accommodations in a test taker profile;

polling the test taker profile in order to determine the user accommodations;

receiving an indication of a proctor approval of the user accommodations; and in response thereto, compiling a FLASH animation, which contains updates directed to providing the user accommodations, wherein the FLASH animation includes a language; and

transmitting the FLASH animation to a test station.

13. The memory of claim 12 , wherein the FLASH animation includes text.

14. The memory of claim 12 , wherein the FLASH animation includes a font size.

15. The memory of claim 12 , wherein the FLASH animation includes a calculator.

16. The memory of claim 12 , wherein the FLASH animation includes a virtual assistant.

17. The memory of claim 16 , wherein the virtual assistant is a text FAQ.

18. The memory of claim 16 , wherein the virtual assistant is an audio FAQ.

19. The memory of claim 16 , wherein the virtual assistant comprises instant message communication with the proctor.

20. The memory of claim 16 , wherein the virtual assistant is a help menu.
