Abstract

The present invention relates to IL-17 Receptor A antigen binding proteins, such as antibodies, and compositions and methods for diagnosing and treating diseases mediated by IL-17 Receptor A activation.

Claims (55)

1. An isolated antibody, comprising a light chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:40 and a heavy chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:14, wherein said antibody specifically binds human IL-17 receptor A.

2. An isolated antibody, comprising a light chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:224, a light chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:225, a light chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:226, a heavy chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:146, a heavy chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:147, and a heavy chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:148, wherein said antibody specifically binds human IL-17 receptor A.

3. The antibody of either of claim 1 or 2 , wherein said antibody is selected from the group consisting of:

a. a human antibody;

b. a humanized antibody;

c. a chimeric antibody;

d. a recombinant antibody;

e. a single chain antibody;

f. a diabody;

g. a triabody;

h. a tetrabody;

i. a Fab fragment;

j. a F(ab′)2 fragment;

k. an IgD antibody;

l. an IgE antibody;

m. an IgM antibody;

n. an IgG1 antibody;

o. an IgG2 antibody;

P. an IgG3 antibody; and

q. an IgG4 antibody.

4. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising the antibody of claim 3 .

5. The antibody of claim 3 , wherein said antibody is conjugated to a chemical moiety selected from the group consisting of:

(a) polyethylene glycol; and

(b) human serum albumin.

6. An isolated polypeptide, comprising a light chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:40 and a heavy chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:14, wherein said polypeptide specifically binds human IL-17 receptor A.

7. An isolated polypeptide, comprising a light chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:224, a light chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:225, a light chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:226, a heavy chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:146, a heavy chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:147, and a heavy chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:148, wherein said polypeptide specifically binds human IL-17 receptor A.

8. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising the polypeptide of claims 6 or 7 .

An isolated antibody, comprising an IgG2 human monoclonal antibody comprising a light chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:224, a light chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:225, a light chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:226, a heavy chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:146, a heavy chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:147, and a heavy chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:148, wherein said antibody specifically binds human IL-17 receptor A.

10. The antibody of claim 9 , wherein said antibody comprises a light chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:40 and a heavy chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:14.

11. The antibody of claim 10 , wherein said antibody comprises a heavy chain sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:427 and a light chain sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:429.

A pharmaceutical composition, comprising an IgG2 human monoclonal antibody comprising a light chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:224, a light chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:225, a light chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:226, a heavy chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:146, a heavy chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:147, and a heavy chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:148, wherein said antibody specifically binds human IL-17 receptor A.

13. The antibody of claim 9 , 10 , or 11 , wherein said antibody is conjugated to a chemical moiety selected from the group consisting of:

(a) polyethylene glycol; and

(b) human serum albumin.

14. An isolated antibody, comprising SEQ ID NO:427 and SEQ ID NO:429.

15. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising the antibody of claim 14 .

16. The antibody of claim 14 , wherein said antibody is conjugated to a chemical moiety selected from the group consisting of:

(a) polyethylene glycol; and

(b) human serum albumin.

17. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising an antibody comprising a light chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:40 and a heavy chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:14.

18. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising an antibody comprising a light chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:224, a light chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:225, a light chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:226, a heavy chain CDR1 comprising SEQ ID NO:146, a heavy chain CDR2 comprising SEQ ID NO:147, and a heavy chain CDR3 comprising SEQ ID NO:148, wherein said antibody specifically binds human IL-17 receptor A.

19. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising an IgG2 human monoclonal antibody comprising a light chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:40 and a heavy chain variable domain comprising SEQ ID NO:14.

20. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising an IgG2 human monoclonal antibody comprising a heavy chain sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:427 and a light chain sequence comprising SEQ ID NO:429.

21. The antibody of claim 1 , wherein said antibody is a human antibody.

22. The antibody of claim 21 , wherein said antibody is a monoclonal antibody.

23. The antibody of claim 1 , wherein said antibody is a humanized antibody.

24. The antibody of claim 23 , wherein said antibody is a monoclonal antibody.

25. The antibody of claim 1 , wherein said antibody is a chimeric antibody.

26. The antibody of claim 25 , wherein said antibody is a monoclonal antibody.

27. The antibody of claim 2 , wherein said antibody is a human antibody.

28. The antibody of claim 27 , wherein said antibody is a monoclonal antibody.

29. The antibody of claim 2 , wherein said antibody is a humanized antibody.

30. The antibody of claim 29 , wherein said antibody is a monoclonal antibody.

31. The antibody of claim 2 , wherein said antibody is a chimeric antibody.

32. The antibody of claim 31 , wherein said antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
