Formulations of Human Growth Hormone Comprising a Non-Naturally Encoded Amino Acid
Formulations of modified human growth hormone polypeptides are provided.
1 . A pharmaceutical formulation of human growth hormone (hGH) polypeptide comprising one or more non-naturally encoded amino acids wherein said formulation comprises:
a) a buffer;
b) at least one carrier, excipient, or stabilizer;
c) and a pharmaceutically effective quantity of human growth hormone (hGH); and
wherein the hGH has an increased serum half-life.
2 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the hGH increases serum half-life by at least two fold.
3 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the hGH increases serum half-life by at least three fold.
4 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the hGH increases serum half-life by at least five fold.
5 . The formulation of claim 1 , wherein the hGH increases serum half-life by at least ten fold.
