HSP60 from arthrobacter
View Patent ↗The hsp60 gene from a strain of Arthrobacter has been isolated and sequenced. The encoded protein is believed to be highly immunogenic, especially in fish, and also has utility as a non-specific adjuvant, and as an adjuvanting carrier for heterologous antigens.
1. An isolated nucleic acid sequence encoding an Arthrobacter hsp60, wherein the isolated nucleic acid sequence is fused in-frame to a heterologous coding sequence, wherein the Arthrobacter hsp60 comprises the amino acid sequence shown as SEQ ID NO:2.
2. An isolated nucleic acid sequence encoding an Arthrobacter hsp60, wherein the isolated nucleic acid sequence is fused in-frame to a heterologous coding sequence, wherein the isolated nucleic acid sequence comprises nucleotides 953-2578 of SEQ ID NO:1.
