Abstract

In embodiments, the present invention provides a method and system for associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content, selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a mobile subscriber characteristic associated with a mobile communication facility, presenting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility, receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question, and presenting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

Claims (125)

1. A computer-implemented method for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the method comprising the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a mobile subscriber characteristic associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein the mobile subscriber characteristic is a demographic.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein the mobile subscriber characteristic is billing information.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein the mobile subscriber characteristic is a user profile.

5. A computer-implemented method for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the method comprising the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a user transaction associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

6. The method of claim 5 wherein the user transaction is an online product purchase.

7. The method of claim 5 wherein the user transaction is an ad conversion.

8. A computer-implemented method for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the method comprising the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a usage history associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

9. The method of claim 8 wherein the usage history is a browse history.

10. The method of claim 8 wherein the usage history is an ad conversion history.

11. A computer-implemented method for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the method comprising the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a location associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

12. The method of claim 11 wherein the location is a previous location.

13. The method of claim 11 wherein the location is a current location.

14. The method of claim 11 wherein the location is determined according to location coordinates of a particular mobile communication facility.

15. The method of claim 11 wherein the location is determined by a user entered location.

16. The method of claim 11 wherein the location is a plurality of geographic regions.

17. The method of claim 11 wherein the location is determined according to a distance from a specified location.

18. A computer-implemented method for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the method comprising the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on contextual information that is associated with a website;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to a mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

19. The method of claim 18 wherein the contextual information is a link structure.

20. The method of claim 18 wherein the contextual information is an inbound link.

21. The method of claim 18 wherein the contextual information is an outbound link.

22. The method of claim 18 wherein the contextual information is a link.

23. The method of claim 18 wherein the contextual information is a text.

24. The method of claim 18 wherein the contextual information is a keyword.

25. The method of claim 18 wherein the contextual information is a metadata.

26. A system for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the system comprising one or more computers having computer readable mediums having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of the one or more computers, causes the system to perform the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a mobile subscriber characteristic associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

A system for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the system comprising one or more computers having computer readable mediums having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of the one or more computers, causes the system to perform the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a user transaction associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

A system for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the system comprising one or more computers having computer readable mediums having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of the one or more computers, causes the system to perform the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a usage history associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

A system for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the system comprising one or more computers having computer readable mediums having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of the one or more computers, causes the system to perform the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a location associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

A system for realtime surveying within mobile sponsored content, the system comprising one or more computers having computer readable mediums having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of the one or more computers, causes the system to perform the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on contextual information that is associated with a website;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to a mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

31. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of one or more computers, causes the one or more processors to survey in realtime within mobile sponsored content, by performing the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a mobile subscriber characteristic associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

32. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of one or more computers, causes the one or more processors to survey in realtime within mobile sponsored content, by performing the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a user transaction associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

33. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of one or more computers, causes the one or more processors to survey in realtime within mobile sponsored content, by performing the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a usage history associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

34. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of one or more computers, causes the one or more processors to survey in realtime within mobile sponsored content, by performing the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on a location associated with a mobile communication facility;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to the mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.

35. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of one or more computers, causes the one or more processors to survey in realtime within mobile sponsored content, by performing the steps of:

associating a survey question with an interactive sponsored content;

selecting the interactive sponsored content based at least in part on contextual information that is associated with a website;

transmitting the interactive sponsored content to a mobile communication facility;

receiving a response to the survey question from the mobile communication facility, wherein the response is provided by a user of the mobile communication facility;

analyzing a plurality of user responses to the survey question; and

transmitting a survey analytic to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the analysis.
