Abstract

In accordance with some embodiments, a plurality of outcomes are generated and used to create a video presentation of representative outcomes (e.g., for a roulette game) for one or more players. The video presentation is recorded onto a tangible medium (e.g., DVD or CD-ROM) or otherwise provided to one or more players (e.g., a player may access the video presentation online). This allows one or more players to purchase a video presentation of (e.g., predetermined) outcomes in a jurisdiction in which gambling is legal yet view the presentation at the player's convenience (e.g., from any jurisdiction and at any time). At least one player who is associated with such a video presentation may subsequently redeem it for a redemption value associated therewith.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein causing the at least one processor to capture the at least one image associated with outcome includes using a camera to capture the at least one image.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein causing the at least one memory device to store the video record includes causing the at least one memory device to store the video record on a server.

5. The method of claim 1 wherein delivering the video record includes delivering a DVD to the player.

6. The method of claim 1 wherein delivering the video record includes delivering the video record through an Internet.

(ii) assemble the captured images into a package for delivery to a player;

(b) after assembling the captured images into the package, receive from the player an indication of a purchase of the package, wherein the purchase defines a wager placed by the player on the game of chance; and

(c) enable the player to redeem any winnings associated with the wager placed by the player on the game of chance.

10. The system of claim 9 wherein the server is further adapted to deliver the package to the player through an Internet.

11. A method of operating a gaming system, said method comprising:

(a) before any wagers are placed on a game of chance played at a gaming table and before any outcomes of the game of chance played at the gaming table are displayed to any players:

(i) causing at least one processor to generate an outcome of the game of chance played at the gaming table, wherein said gaming table is associated with an acceptor, and a cashout device, wherein if a physical item is received via the acceptor, a credit balance is established based, at least in part, on a monetary value associated with the received physical item and if a cashout input is received via the cashout device, an initiation of any payout associated with the credit balance is caused to occur,

(ii) causing the at least one processor to create a record of the outcome as it is generated, and

(iii) causing at least one memory device to store a video record of the outcome;
