Glycopeptide derivatives and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same
View Patent ↗Disclosed are compounds of the formula: or a trifluoroacetic acid salt thereof, wherein A, B and Fmoc are as defined herein. Such compounds are useful as synthetic intermediates for preparing glycopeptides antibiotics.
1. A compound of the formula:
wherein
A is —CH 2 — or —CH 2 CH 2 —;
B is n-heptyl, n-octyl, n-nonyl, n-decyl or n-undecyl; and
Fmoc is 9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl;
or a trifluoroacetic acid salt thereof.
2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein A is —CH 2 —.
3. The compound of claim 1 , wherein A is —CH 2 CH 2 —.
4. The compound of claim 1 , wherein B is n-heptyl.
5. The compound of claim 1 , wherein B is n-octyl.
6. The compound of claim 1 , wherein B is n-decyl.
7. The compound of claim 1 , wherein B is n-undecyl.
8. A compound of the formula:
or a trifluoroacetic acid salt thereof.
9. The compound of claim 1 , wherein B is n-nonyl.
