Abstract

An electrical connection portion fixed to an apparatus main body includes a plurality of conductive members and an insulating portion for electrically insulating the conductive members from the apparatus main body in which the conductive members are arranged. The insulating portion covers the circumference of the plurality of conductive members. Further, the insulating portion makes the conductive members arranged side by side in a state where the conductive members are insulated from each other.

Claims (42)

1. An adapter type endoscope comprising:

an observation optical system;

a light emitting device;

an adapter side electrical connection portion configured by including:

a plurality of conductive case bodies;

a plurality of first pin members which are respectively fixed to the plurality of case bodies and respectively electrically connected to a connection substrate electrically connected to the light emitting device;

second pin members slidably arranged in the case bodies;

urging members which are respectively arranged in the case bodies and are brought into contact with the first pin members and the second pin members in the arrangement state to urge the second pin members in an axis direction, and

an adapter side insulating portion which has a positioning surface and integrally covers a plurality of electrical connection members, each configured by arranging the first pin member, the second pin member, and the urging member in the case body, in parallel with each other at a predetermined interval and in an insulating state;

a distal end adapter including an adapter main body in which there are formed an adapter side connection portion arrangement hole in which the adapter side electrical connection portion is arranged and which has a positioning portion, an optical hole in which the observation optical system is arranged, and a positioning hole;

an objective optical system;

an endoscope side electrical connection portion which are arranged in the endoscope side connection portion arrangement hole, the endoscope side electrical connection portion being configured by including:

a plurality of terminal members, each of which has a disk-shaped contact surface portion and a thin and long rod portion having a diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the contact surface portion, the plurality of terminal members being electrically connected to the power supply portion for supplying electric power to the light emitting device, and being brought into contact with the second pin members of the distal end adapter; and

an endoscope side insulating portion for making the plurality of terminal members align in parallel with each other at a predetermined interval to be insulated from each other, the endoscope side insulating portion including an elliptic contact surface portion arrangement portion on which the plurality of terminal members are arranged and on which a proximal end surface of the contact surface portion is arranged, and a covering portion the diameter of which is smaller than the diameter of the contact surface portion arrangement portion, and which covers the intermediate portion of the rod portion and is inserted in the endoscope side connection portion arrangement hole; and

an insertion portion distal end portion to which the distal end adapter is detachably attached, and which has the endoscope side connection portion arrangement hole in which the endoscope side electrical connection portion is arranged and has a rotation stopping portion to be arranged in the positioning hole of the distal end adapter.

2. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 1 ,

wherein the adapter side insulating portion has planar shaped mutually opposing side surface portions, and has a first recessed portion and a second recessed portion for configuring the positioning surface at the center between the electrical connection portions, in a positional relation to face the respective side surface portions.

3. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 2 ,

wherein the first recessed portion and the second recessed portion of the adapter side insulating portion each includes an end surface serving as the positioning surface, and

wherein the adapter side connection portion arrangement hole includes:

a first projecting portion having a positioning portion, which is inserted in the first recessed portion and is brought into contact with the end surface of the first recessed portion; and

a second projecting portion having a positioning portion, which is inserted in the second recessed portion and is brought into contact with the end surface of the second recessed portion.

4. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 2 ,

wherein the adapter side insulating portion is formed by a high heat resistance resin member.

5. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 1 ,

wherein an external shape of the contact surface portion arrangement portion configuring the endoscope side insulating portion is larger than the outer diameter of the contact surface portion configuring the terminal member.

6. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 5 ,

wherein the endoscope side insulating portion has a stepped surface at the boundary between the contact surface portion arrangement portion and the covering portion, and

wherein the stepped surface is arranged to be in contact with the distal end surface of the insertion portion distal end portion, in a state where the endoscope side electrical connection portion is arranged in the endoscope side connecting portion arrangement hole.

7. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 1 ,

wherein a width dimension of the covering portion configuring the endoscope side insulating portion is smaller than the outer diameter dimension of the contact surface portion configuring the terminal member.

8. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 1 ,

wherein the endoscope side insulating portion is formed by a high heat resistance resin member.

9. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 1 ,

wherein the contact surface portion configuring the terminal member is arranged in a space inside a virtual plane which is in contact with a distal end of the rotation stopping portion projecting from the distal end portion main body configuring the insertion portion distal end portion, and is in contact with the distal end of an exterior portion.

10. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 1 ,

wherein the adapter side insulating portion includes an inter-pin insulating portion configured to be provided between the first pin member and the second pin member which configure the adapter side electrical connection portion, and configured to separate and insulate the first pin member and the second pin member from each other, and

wherein a thickness of the inter-pin insulating portion is smaller than twice a thickness of the insulating portion provided to insulate the circumference of the first pin member and the second pin member.

11. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 1 ,

wherein the connection substrate has, at one end side, first contact portions electrically connected to the first pin members, and has, at the other end side, second contact portions electrically connected to a device electrode to which the light emitting device is connected, and an interval between the second contact portions is larger than an interval between the first contact portions.

12. The adapter type endoscope according to claim 1 ,

wherein the adapter side connection portion arrangement hole in which the adapter side electrical connection portion is arranged, is formed on one side with respect to a central axis of the adapter main body, and a central axis of the observation optical system is offset to the other side with respect to the central axis of the adapter main body.
