Ultrasonic nozzle
An ultrasonic nozzle for applying a coating to an exterior surface of a substrate. The ultrasonic nozzle has an ultrasonic nozzle having an amplitude. The amplitude is greater than 120 microns.
1 . An ultrasonic nozzle for applying a coating to an exterior surface of a substrate, the ultrasonic nozzle comprising:
the ultrasonic nozzle comprising an amplitude, wherein said amplitude is greater than 120 microns.
2 . An ultrasonic nozzle for applying a coating to an exterior surface of a substrate, the ultrasonic nozzle comprising:
a. a first end comprising a first end surface area and
b. a second end adjacent said first end comprising a second end surface area said first end, wherein said first end surface area is larger than said second end surface area.
3 . An ultrasonic nozzle comprising:
a. a first end and
b. a second end
c. wherein a fluid comprising a flow rate of less than 240 g/ml and a viscosity of less than 500 cp flows through said first end and said second end.
4 . The ultrasonic nozzle of claim 3 wherein said fluid is selected from a group consisting of surface tension modifier and viscosity modifier.
5 . The ultrasonic nozzle of claim 3 wherein said fluid is selected from a group consisting of oil, propylene glycol, water, lecithin, glycerin, maltodextin, and carboxylmethyl cellulose.
6 . The ultrasonic nozzle of claim 3 wherein said fluid has a viscosity of about 1 to about 500 cps.
7 . The ultrasonic nozzle of claim 3 wherein said fluid has a solids content of about 0 to about 70%.
8 . An ultrasonic nozzle comprising
a. a first end comprising a first end length, wherein said first end length is about 120 mm and
b. a second end adjacent said first end comprising a second end length, wherein said second end length is about 140 mm, said second end comprises
an ultrasonic tip comprising, said ultrasonic tip comprising an orifice wherein a fluid passes through, said ultrasonic tip has a circumference of about 10 mm.
9 . The ultrasonic nozzle of claim 8 wherein said ultrasonic nozzle comprises a material, said material is selected from a group consisting of aluminum, diamond, titanium, and stainless steel.
