Abstract

The present invention relates to a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material wherein at least one of light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers includes a silver halide emulsion having a silver chloride content of at least 95 mol % and a silver iodide content of 0.05 mol % to 0.75 mol % and/or a silver bromide content of 0.05 mol % to 4.00 mol % and further at least one compound represented by the following formula (I): X-(L) n -Y  Formula (I) wherein X represents a group adsorptive to a silver halide, L represents a divalent connecting group comprising one of an atom and an atomic group including at least one of a carbon atom, a nitrogen atom, a sulfur atom and an oxygen atom, Y denotes a reducible group and n denotes an integer of 0 or 1.

Claims (31)

1. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising at least one compound represented by the following Formula (IV):

X-(L 1 ′) n -Y 3   Formula (IV)

wherein: X represents one of a five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle having, as constitutents of its ring structure, three or more heteroatoms; a five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle which has a quaternary nitrogen atom and is represented by the following “a”; a five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle which includes nitrogen and has a thioxo group and is represented by the following “b”; a five-, six-, or seven-membered heterocycle which includes nitrogen and is represented by the following “c”; and a five-, six-, or seven-membered heterocycle which includes nitrogen and is represented by the following “d” or “e”

wherein Z represents an atomic group required to form a nitrogen-containing five-, six-or seven-membered heterocycle; R 1 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkynyl group; L 1 , and L 2 respectively represents a methine group; and n 2 represents 0, 1 or 2,

n denotes an integer of 0 or 1; L 1 ′ represents a divalent connecting group, provided that the atom of L 1 ′, which is directly connected to Y 3 , is a carbon atom; Y 3 is any group selected from the groups represented by the following (B 1 ), (B 2 ) or (B 4 ); and R b1 , R b2 and R b3 in the groups represented by the following (B 1 ), (B 2 ) or (B 4 ) respectively denote one of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group and a heterocyclic group, provided that when Y 3 is a group represented by (B 1 ), n is 1 and L 1 ′ is a heterocyclic group having a divalent carbon atom directly connected to Y 3 , and when Y 3 is a group represented by (B 2 ) and R b1 is a hydrogen atom, n is 1 and L 1 ′ has a carbon atom which is directly connected to Y 3 , which carbon atom is part of an alkylene group or —CO— in L 1 ′

2. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 1 , wherein Y 3 is any group selected from the groups represented by (B 2 ) or (B 4 ).

3. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 1 , wherein Y 3 is (B 4 ).

4. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 1 , wherein R b1 of the groups represented by (B 1 ), (B 2 ) or (B 4 ) is any of an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group and a heterocyclic group.

5. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 4 , wherein R b1 is an alkyl group.

6. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 4 , wherein R b1 is a methyl group.

7. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 1 , wherein the compound represented by the Formula (IV) is a compound represented by the following Formula (V):

X-(L 2 ′) n -Y 3   Formula (V)

wherein X and n are the same as those in the Formula (IV); Y 3 is any group selected from the groups represented by (B 2 ) or (B 4 ); L 2 ′ represents an alkylene group, —CO—, —SO 2 —, —NR— or a divalent connecting group comprising a combination of at least two of these groups; R represents one of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group and an aryl group, provided that the atom of L 2 ′, which is directly connected to Y 3 , is a carbon atom, and that when Y 3 is a group represented by (B 2 ) and R b1 is a hydrogen atom, n is 1 and L 2 ′ has a carbon atom which is directly connected to Y 3 which carbon atom is part of an alkylene group or —CO— in L 2 ′.

8. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a compound represented by the following Formula (VI):

wherein X represents one of a five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle having, as constitutents of its ring structure, three or more heteroatoms; a five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle which has a quaternary nitrogen atom and is represented by the following “a”; a five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle which includes nitrogen and has a thioxo group and is represented by the following “b”; a five-, six-, or seven-membered heterocycle which includes nitrogen and is represented by the following “c”; and a five-, six-, or seven-membered heterocycle which includes nitrogen and is represented by the following “d” or “e”

wherein Z represents an atomic group required to form a nitrogen-containing five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle; R 1 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkynyl group; L 1 , and L 2 respectively represents a methine group; and n 2 represents 0, 1 or 2,

n denotes an integer of 0 or 1; L 1 ′ represents a divalent connecting group, provided that the atom of L 1 ′ which is directly connected to the nitrogen atom which is connected to R b2 is a carbon atom; and R b1 represents a group selected from an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group and a heterocyclic group, and R b2 represents a member selected from a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group and a heterocyclic group.

9. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 1 , wherein X is a compound represented by one of the following Formulae (X-a) to (X-e):

wherein R 2 to R 7 and R a respectively represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent; R 8 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R 9 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R 10 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkynyl group; R 11 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkynyl group; L 3 represents a divalent connecting group; M 1 and M 2 respectively represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an ammonium group or a block group, p 1 is an integer from 0 to 3; A represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, >NH or >N-(L 4 )p 2 -R 12 (wherein: L 4 respectively represents a divalent connecting group; R 12 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; and p 2 s respectively denotes an integer from 0 to 3); and Z 1 represents an atomic group necessary to form a nitrogen-containing five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle.

10. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 9 , wherein X is a compound represented by Formula (X-c).

11. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 10 , wherein X is one of the following compounds:

12. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 1 , wherein n is 0.

13. A silver halide emulsion comprising at least one of the following compounds I-49, I-50 and I-52 to I-67:

14. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 1 , wherein the compound represented by Formula (IV) is comprised in at least one silver halide emulsion comprised in the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material.

15. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 8 , wherein R b1 is an alkyl group.

16. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 15 , wherein R b1 is a methyl group.

17. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 8 , wherein X is a compound represented by one of the following Formulae (X-a) to (X-e):

wherein R 2 to R 7 and R a respectively represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent; R 8 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R 9 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R 10 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkynyl group; R 11 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkynyl group; L 3 represents a divalent connecting group; M 1 and M 2 respectively represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an ammonium group or a block group, p 1 is an integer from 0 to 3; A represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, >NH or >N-(L 4 )p 2 -R 12 (wherein: L 4 respectively represents a divalent connecting group; R 12 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; and p 2 s respectively denotes an integer from 0 to 3); and Z 1 represents an atomic group necessary to form a nitrogen-containing five-, six- or seven-membered heterocycle.

18. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material according to claim 17 , wherein X is a compound represented by Formula (X-c).
