Beta2-Adrenergic Receptor Agonists
Disclosed are multibinding compounds which are β2 adrenergic receptor agonists and are useful in the treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases such as asthma, bronchitis. They are also useful in the treatment of nervous system injury and premature labor.

54 . A method of treating asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in a mammal, the method comprising administering to the mammal a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier and a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt of a compound of the formula:
55 . The method of claim 54 wherein the method comprises administering the pharmaceutical composition to the mammal by inhalation.
56 . The method of claim 54 wherein the method further comprises administering a steroidal anti-inflammatory agent to the mammal.

58 . A method of treating asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in a mammal, the method comprising administering to the mammal a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier and a compound of the formula:
