Automatic analyzer
View Patent ↗An automatic analyzer analyzes a measurement item by making a sample and reagent react with each other and measuring the reaction result. This apparatus allows parameters associated with reagent dispensing executed by a reagent dispensing mechanism to be set as a dispensing condition for each measurement item or each type of reagent, and controls the reagent dispensing mechanism on the basis of the dispensing condition.
1. A controlling method of an automatic analyzer, comprising:
setting a plurality of unique reagent dummy amounts for a respective reagent of multiple reagents and for a given discharge amount of the respective reagent;
executing a dispensing operation by a reagent dispensing unit, including aspirating an amount of the respective reagent from one of a plurality of reagent vessels, each of which stores a respective reagent, and discharging a portion of the aspirated respective reagent into a reaction vessel;
controlling the dispensing operation such that an amount of the aspirated respective reagent including the reagent dummy amount is determined in accordance with the set unique reagent dummy amounts and the respective reagent; and
analyzing a specific component of a sample in the reaction vessel, the reaction vessel storing the sample and the discharged portion of the aspirated reagent including the reagent dummy amount.
2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the setting a unique reagent dummy amount sets the dummy amount according to a condition selected from among plural predetermined conditions.
3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein in the controlling the dispensing operation the reagent dummy amount is manually selected from among plural predetermined dummy amounts.
4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein in the dispensing operation the controlling the reagent dummy amount is manually input.
5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the reagent dummy amount is set by changing a coefficient of a mathematical expression indicating a relationship between the amount of the discharged reagent and the reagent dummy amount.
6. The method according to claim 5 , wherein the mathematical expression is
the reagent dummy amount=(the amount of discharged reagent× A [%]+ B μl),
in which A and B are coefficients.
7. An automatic analyzer, comprising:
a controller setting a plurality of unique reagent dummy amounts for a respective reagent of multiple reagents and for a given discharge amount of the respective reagent;
a dispensing mechanism executing a dispensing operation, which includes an aspiration of the respective reagent from one of a plurality of reagent vessels, each of which stores a respective reagent, and a discharge of a portion of the aspirated respective reagent into a reaction vessel;
a controller configured to control the dispensing mechanism such that an amount of the aspirated respective reagent including the reagent dummy amount is determined in accordance with the set unique reagent dummy amounts and the respective reagent; and
an analyzing mechanism analyzing a specific component of a sample in the reaction vessel, the reaction vessel storing the sample and the discharged portion of the aspirated reagent including the reagent dummy amount.
