Abstract

The present invention relates to a compound represented by Formula (I): and pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Compounds of the present invention inhibit Aurora kinase, making them especially suitable for the treatment of a number of diseases, including solid tumor cancers and hematological cancers.

Claims (1)

1. A method for treating a cancer comprising administering to a patient in need thereof the compound N′-{4-[4-(2-{3-[(dimethylamino)methyl]phenyl}-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-4-yl)-1-ethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl]phenyl}-N,N-dimethylurea or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the cancer is a) a solid tumor cancer selected from the group consisting of lung cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, ovarian cancer, melanoma, and pancreatic cancer; or b) a hematological cancer which is leukemia, B-cell lymphoma, AML, or CML.
