Abstract

A liquid level detecting apparatus detects a liquid surface of a liquid stored in a vessel, by taking an image of an inside of the vessel from a predetermined position where an opening edge of the vessel and the liquid surface come into an imaging range, and determining whether a distance between the opening edge of the vessel and the liquid surface in a taken image is within a preset threshold range or not.

Claims (2)

1 . A liquid level detecting apparatus for detecting a liquid surface of a liquid stored in a vessel, taking an image of an inside of the vessel from a predetermined position where an opening edge of the vessel and the liquid surface come into an imaging range, and determining whether a distance between the opening edge of the vessel and the liquid surface in a taken image is within a preset threshold range or not.

2 . The liquid level detecting apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein an imager for taking an image of the opening edge of the vessel and the liquid surface is arranged obliquely upward of the vessel.
