Abstract

A personalized assistance system for a user of a mobile device including a first database having a digital file library associated with the user, where the digital file library includes at least one digital file supplied to the first database by the user. An identification code uniquely associated with the mobile device is transmitted to the personalized assistance system, when the user calls the system. A customer service representative terminal is coupled to the database, where the identification code prompts automatic retrieval of at least a portion of the digital file library to the customer service representative terminal in response to processing of the identification code, the customer service representative terminal searching the digital file library in response to a user query to locate a designated digital file from the user's digital file library and causing the delivery of the digital file to a desired destination indicated by the user.

Claims (12)

1. A personalized assistance system for a user of a mobile device, the personalized assistance system comprising:

a first database, the first database having a digital file library associated with the user, the digital file library including at least one digital file supplied to said first database by said user;

an identification code uniquely associated with the mobile device said identification code being transmitted to said personalized assistance system, when said user calls the system; and

a customer service representative terminal coupled to the database, the identification code prompting automatic retrieval of at least a portion of the digital file library to the customer service representative terminal in response to processing of said identification code, the customer service representative terminal searching said digital file library in response to a user query to locate a designated digital file from the user's digital file library and causing the delivery of said digital file to a desired destination indicated by said user.

2. The personalized assistance system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said digital file library includes digital files selected from the group consisting of; video files, audio files, photo files, movie files, game files and television files.

3. The personalized assistance system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said user arranges for delivery of said digital file library from one or more of a user's personal databases to said database of said system.

The personalized assistance system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said digital file library may be configured such that said delivery of said digital file to the mobile device of said user is an instruction to deliver said digital file from one of said user's personal databases to said mobile device of said user.

5. The personalized assistance system as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising an applet for storage on said user's mobile device, the activation of which connects to an application at said system for interfacing with said system.

6. The personalized assistance system as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said applet allows said user direct communication with said customer service representative.

7. The personalized assistance system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said system provides a multimedia message to said user while said user is connected with said personalized assistance system.

8. The personalized assistance system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said system plays a branded audio message to said user when said user is waiting to be connected to said customer service representative.

9. The personalized assistance system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said system in configured to perform an electronic commerce transaction for said user.
