Abstract

The invention relates to G-CSF molecules having certain O-linked oligosaccharide structures.

Claims (57)

1. A composition comprising human G-CSF wherein the composition comprises two or more G-CSF molecules each being glycosylated with a different oligosaccharide structure wherein the oligosaccharide structures are selected from the group consisting of:

wherein Gal=Galactose,

NAcGal=N-Acetyl-Galactosamine,

NAcGlu=N-Acetyl-Glucosamine, and

SA=Sialic Acid.

2. The composition of claim 1 wherein the composition comprises three or more G-CSF molecules each being glycosylated with a different oligosaccharide structure selected from the group of claim 1 .

3. The composition of claim 1 wherein the composition comprises four or more G-CSF molecules each being glycosylated with a different oligosaccharide structure selected from the group of claim 1 .

4. The composition of claim 1 wherein the composition comprises five G-CSF molecules each being glycosylated with a different oligosaccharide structure selected from the group of claim 1 .

5. The composition of claim 1 wherein the G-CSF is isolated.

6. The composition of claim 1 wherein the G-CSF molecules are pegylated.

7. A composition comprising human G-CSF wherein the composition comprises a G-CSF molecule glycosylated with an oligosaccharide structure consisting of:

wherein Gal=Galactose,

NAcGal=N-Acetyl-Galactosamine,

NAcGlu=N-Acetyl-Glucosamine, and

SA=Sialic Acid.

8. The composition of claim 7 wherein the G-CSF is isolated.

9. The composition of claim 7 wherein the G-CSF molecule is glycosylated at threonine 133.

10. The composition of claim 7 wherein the composition is a pharmaceutical composition.

11. The composition of claim 7 wherein the G-CSF molecule is pegylated.

12. A composition comprising human G-CSF wherein the composition comprises a G-CSF molecule glycosylated with an oligosaccharide structure consisting of:

wherein Gal=Galactose,

NAcGal=N-Acetyl-Galactosamine,

NAcGlu=N-Acetyl-Glucosamine, and

SA=Sialic Acid.

13. The composition of claim 12 wherein the G-CSF is isolated.

14. The composition of claim 12 wherein the G-CSF molecule is glycosylated at threonine 133.

15. The composition of claim 12 wherein the composition is a pharmaceutical composition.

16. The composition of claim 12 wherein the G-CSF molecule is pegylated.

17. A composition comprising human G-CSF wherein the composition comprises a G-CSF molecule glycosylated with an oligosaccharide structure consisting of:

wherein Gal=Galactose,

NAcGal=N-Acetyl-Galactosamine,

NAcGlu=N-Acetyl-Glucosamine, and

SA=Sialic Acid.

18. The composition of claim 17 wherein the G-CSF is isolated.

19. The composition of claim 17 wherein the G-CSF molecule is glycosylated at threonine 133.

20. The composition of claim 17 wherein the composition is a pharmaceutical composition.

21. The composition of claim 17 wherein the G-CSF molecule is pegylated.

22. A composition comprising human G-CSF wherein the composition comprises a G-CSF molecule glycosylated with an oligosaccharide structure consisting of:

wherein

Gal=Galactose,

NAcGal=N-Acetyl-Galactosamine,

NAcGlu=N-Acetyl-Glucosamine, and

SA=Sialic Acid.

23. The composition of claim 22 wherein the G-CSF is isolated.

24. The composition of claim 22 wherein the G-CSF molecule is glycosylated at threonine 133.

25. The composition of claim 22 wherein the composition is a pharmaceutical composition.

26. The composition of claim 22 wherein the G-CSF molecule is pegylated.

27. A composition comprising human G-CSF wherein the composition comprises a G-CSF molecule glycosylated with an oligosaccharide structure consisting of:

Gal-NAcGal-

wherein Gal=Galactose,

NAcGal=N-Acetyl-Galactosamine,

NAcGlu=N-Acetyl-Glucosamine, and

SA=Sialic Acid.

28. The composition of claim 27 wherein the G-CSF is isolated.

29. The composition of claim 27 wherein the G-CSF molecule is glycosylated at threonine 133.

30. The composition of claim 27 wherein the composition is a pharmaceutical composition.

31. The composition of claim 27 wherein the G-CSF molecule is pegylated.
