The difference (Eb−Ec) between the resilience coefficient Eb and the resilience coefficient Ec is equal to or greater than 0.004. The difference (Ec−Em) between the resilience coefficient Ec and the resilience coefficient Em is equal to or greater than 0.004.
1. A golf ball which comprises a core and a cover positioned outside the core, the core having a center and a mid layer positioned outside the center, wherein
the resilience coefficient Ec of the center, the resilience coefficient Em of the core and the resilience coefficient Eb of the golf ball satisfy the following formula (1):
Eb≧Ec≧Em (1),
the center comprises a first layer and a second layer positioned outside the first layer,
the resilience coefficient Ec1 of the first layer and the resilience coefficient Ec of the center satisfy the following formula (3):
Ec>Ec 1 (3), and
the following formula (4) or (5) is satisfied:
Eb≧Ec≧Em>Ec 1 (4);
Eb≧Ec>Em≧Ec 1 (5).
