Inhibitors of IMPDH enzyme
View Patent ↗The present invention relates to compounds which inhibit IMPDH. This invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds. The compounds and pharmaceutical compositions of this invention are particularly well suited for inhibiting IMPDH enzyme activity and consequently, may be advantageously used as therapeutic agents for IMPDH-mediated processes. This invention also relates to methods for inhibiting the activity of IMPDH using the compounds of this invention and related compounds.
1. A method for inhibiting lymphoma or leukemia in a mammal, comprising the step of administering to said mammal a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula 181:
in an amount effective to inhibit IMPDH and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, adjuvant, or vehicle.
2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein said mammal is administered an additional anti-tumor or anti-cancer agent in a separate dosage form or as part of said pharmaceutical composition.
