Portable Multi Position Magnifier Camera
Disclosed is a portable magnifier camera that can be selectively positioned into a variety of configurations. At least four distinct viewing configurations are provided: a reading mode wherein the camera rests flatly upon the viewed object; a writing mode wherein the camera rests at an angle upon the viewed object; a hand-held mode wherein the user holds the camera relative to a distant object; and an inspection mode wherein the user holds the viewed object relative to the camera. These configurations enable a user to effectively view objects of differing size and at varying distances.
1 . A display device comprising:
a display screen;
a control panel for controlling images displayed on the display screen, the control panel including a sliding control and a function key for cycling through a number of different display modes;
the display device including a first display mode wherein the sliding controller is used to change the color scheme of the displayed image, the display device including a second display mode wherein the sliding controller is used to position the image within the display, and the display device including a third display mode wherein the sliding controller is used to enlarge the image.
2 . A display device comprising:
a display screen;
a control panel for controlling images displayed on the display screen, the control panel including a sliding control and a function key for cycling through a number of different display modes.
3 . The display device as described in claim 2 wherein at least one display mode is provided and wherein the sliding controller is used to change the color scheme of the displayed image.
4 . The display device as described in claim 2 wherein at least one display mode is included and wherein the sliding controller is used to position the image within the display.
5 . The display device as described in claim 2 wherein at least one display mode is included and wherein the sliding controller is used to enlarge the image.
6 . The display device as described in claim 2 wherein the sliding controller is a rheostat.
7 . The display device as described in claim 2 wherein the sliding controller is a potentiometer.
8 . The display device as described in claim 5 wherein the sliding controller provides for continuous magnification from 3.5× to 14×.
9 . The display device as described in claim 3 wherein the sliding controller is used to cycle through at least two of the following color combinations: blue/green, red/yellow, or black/white.
10 . The display device as described in claim 4 wherein another display mode is included and wherein the sliding controller is used to enlarge the image.
11 . A magnification device comprising:
a magnification camera;
a display screen for displaying magnified images;
a control panel for controlling images displayed on the display screen, the control panel being pivotally secured to the display screen, the control panel including a sliding control.
12 . The magnification device as described in claim 11 wherein at least one display mode is provided and wherein the sliding controller is used to change the color scheme of the displayed image.
13 . The magnification device as described in claim 11 wherein at least one display mode is included and wherein the sliding controller is used to position the image within the display.
14 . The magnification device as described in claim 11 wherein at least one display mode is included and wherein the sliding controller is used to enlarge the image.
