Abstract

A pigment dispersed in a silicone polymer is combined with at least one cosmetic component or at least one dematologically acceptable and active agent to prepare a wide variety of cosmetic and personal care compositions. The pigment may be dispersed in a polysiloxane, such as an alkylpolysiloxane, to provide a pigment dispersion that is easily blended with cosmetically acceptable components or dematologically active agents to provide a pigmented cosmetic or personal care composition.
