METHOD OF DEPLOYING A PREFABRICATED STRUCTURE
A method of deploying a prefabricated structure including a shell and an extension nested within the shell comprises positioning a container, the container supporting the prefabricated structure on a plurality of rollers connected with the prefabricated structure. The prefabricated structure is urged so that a first set of roller extends from the container. The first set of rollers is separated from columns of a frame of the shell and a first set of support posts is lowered from the columns. The support posts are anchored, and the steps are repeated until the prefabricated structure is separated from the container.
1 . A method of deploying a prefabricated structure including a shell and an extension nested within the shell comprising:
positioning a container, the container supporting the prefabricated structure on a plurality of rollers connected with the shell;
urging the prefabricated structure so that a set of roller is cantilevered from the container;
separating the set of rollers from the shell;
lowering a set of support posts; and
repeatedly performing the following steps until the prefabricated structure is separated from the container:
urging the container so that an additional set of rollers extends from the container,
separating the additional set of rollers from the shell, and
lowering a set of additional support posts.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
deploying the extension from the shell;
lowering a set of extension support posts from the extension; and
deploying a deck by pivoting the deck down at a hinge.
3 . The method of claim 2 , including the steps of leveling the shell and leveling the extension.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
filling a supply water tank connected with a floor of the shell.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein deploying the extension further comprises activating a motor so that the extension is urged out from within the shell.
6 . The method of claim 2 , wherein deploying the extension from the shell further comprises cantilevering the extension from the shell prior to lowering the set of extension support posts.
7 . A method of deploying a prefabricated structure including a shell and an extension nested within the shell comprising:
suspending the prefabricated structure over a deployment site so that one or more columns of a frame of the prefabricated structure is unobstructed;
lowering a support post from the at least one column; and
repeatedly performing the following step until the prefabricated structure is supported by the deployment site:
lowering a support post from one or more columns.
8 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising:
deploying the extension from the shell;
lowering a set of extension support posts from the extension; and
deploying a deck by pivoting the deck down at a hinge.
9 . The method of claim 8 , including the steps of leveling the shell and leveling the extension.
10 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising:
filling a supply water tank connected with a floor of the shell.
11 . The method of claim 7 , wherein deploying the extension further comprises activating a motor so that the extension is urged out from within the shell.
12 . The method of claim 7 , wherein suspending the prefabricated structure further comprises:
connecting cables to eye-hooks extending from the frame; and
suspending the prefabricated structure by way of the cables.
13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the prefabricated structure is suspended by one of a crane and a helicopter.
14 . The method of claim 7 , including delivering the prefab structure to a deployment site by one of a flatcar, a shipping container, and a fork-lift.
15 . A method of deploying a prefabricated structure including a shell and an extension nested within the shell comprising:
positioning a container, the container supporting the prefabricated structure on a plurality of rollers connected with the shell;
urging the prefabricated structure so that a first set of roller is cantilevered from the container;
separating the first set of rollers from columns of a frame of the shell;
lowering a first set of support posts from the columns;
anchoring the support posts;
repeatedly performing the following steps until the prefabricated structure is separated from the container:
urging the container so that an additional set of rollers extends from the container,
separating the additional set of rollers from columns of a frame of the shell,
lowering a set of additional support posts from the columns, and
anchoring the additional support posts.
16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:
leveling the shell;
deploying the extension from the shell;
lowering a set of extension support posts from columns of a frame of the extension;
anchoring the extension support posts;
leveling the extension;
deploying a deck by pivoting the deck down at a hinge between two vertical support structures of the shell;
joining a set of deck support posts with the deck; and
anchoring the deck support posts.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the steps of leveling the shell and leveling the extension further comprise:
adjusting a distance the support posts and the extension support posts extend from respective columns of the shell frame and the extension frame.
18 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:
filling a supply water tank connected with the shell; and
supplying a source of propane gas.
19 . The method of claim 15 , wherein deploying the extension further comprises activating a motor so that the extension is urged out from within the shell.
20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein deploying the extension from the shell further comprises cantilevering the extension from the shell prior to lowering the set of extension support posts.
21 . A method of deploying a prefabricated structure including a shell and an extension nested within the shell comprising:
receiving the prefabricated structure supported by a support surface;
suspending the prefabricated structure over a deployment site so that one or more columns of a frame of the prefabricated structure is unobstructed;
lowering a support post from the at least one column;
anchoring the support post;
repeatedly performing the following steps until the prefabricated structure is supported by the deployment site:
suspending a portion of the prefabricated structure so that one or more additional columns of the frame is unobstructed,
lowering a support post from one or more columns, and
anchoring the support post.
