RETAIL RATINGS MODULE METHOD
A retail rating system for use in connection with gambling activities is disclosed. Points or credits are accumulated for commercial activity and made available for gambling activity. A management system and/or player tracking cards are employed to track accumulation of points and commercial activity.
1 . A method for providing a patron with a benefit associated with retail activity involving a retail rating system networked to a casino management system, comprising:
establishing one or more participating gambling entities;
establishing one or more participating point of sale entities;
configuring the casino management system to provide communication between the participating gambling entities and the point of sale entities;
accumulating points associated with commercial activity at the one or more participating gambling entities; and
causing accumulated points to be available to a patron for use in gambling activities.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising making accumulated points to be available for use in retail activities.
3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising providing multiple settings for commercial activity.
4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising providing multiple settings based upon level of commercial activity.
5 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising providing multiple settings based upon player type.
6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising establishing player type based upon gambling activity.
7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising establishing player type based upon commercial activity.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising providing multiple settings based upon a player tracking card level.
9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising tracking accumulated points on a player tracking card.
10 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising improving a tracking card level based upon accumulation of points.
11 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising providing points based upon a percentage of commercial activity.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising excluding taxes paid from a process associated with accumulating points.
13 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising providing a manual retail rating system.
14 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising providing vouchers for commercial activity.
15 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising tracking patron commercial activity.
