Abstract

Within a wireless network, feedback information is used to determine channel quality. A node in the network receives a configuration message indicating at least a first type of feedback information and a subset S 1 , wherein S 1 is a subset of S 0 , and wherein the set S 0 comprises all possible values of the first type of feedback information. The node selects an element E 1 from the set S 1 and transmits the selected element E 1 in a feedback transmission instance.
