Abstract

Embodiments of the invention are related to data management systems, amongst other things. In an embodiment, the invention includes a video output and a processor in communication with the video output, wherein the video output and the processor are configured to display information regarding a patient in a first format and a second format through the video output simultaneously, the first format comprising a graphical formal and the second format comprising a textual format, the information displayed in the first format divided into a plurality of phases, wherein the system is configured to automatically change the information displayed in the second format based on user selection of one of the plurality of phases. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Claims (18)

1. A medical system comprising:

a video output; and

a processor in communication with video output, the system configured to display electrogram information regarding a patient in a first format and a second format through the video output simultaneously, the first format comprising primary data in a graphical format and the second format comprising secondary data in a textual format, the primary data divided into a plurality of phases relevant to treatment comprising an onset phase, a therapy phase, and an end phase, the secondary data comprising at least one of an average, maximum, or variance of data from one of the plurality of phases, wherein the system is configured to automatically change the type of information displayed in the second format based on user selection of one of the plurality of phases; wherein when an onset phase is selected the information displayed in the second format includes the average atrial rate and the average ventricular rate and when a therapy phase is selected the information displayed in the second format includes ATP information; wherein the information displayed comprises data generated from an implanted sensor.

2. The medical system of claim 1 , wherein the system is configured to automatically divide the primary data into a plurality of phases.

3. The medical system of claim 1 , wherein the second format comprises a tabular display.

4. The medical system of claim 1 further comprising a slider bar configured to facilitate the selection of a particular phase of graphical data.

5. The medical system of claim 1 , further comprising a telemetry circuit configured to receive information regarding the patient from an implanted medical device.

6. The medical system of claim 1 , the medical system comprising an in-home monitoring system.

7. The medical system of claim 1 , the medical system comprising a programmer/recorder/monitor (PRM) device.

8. A medical system comprising:

an implanted medical device; and

an external medical system comprising

a telemetry circuit configured to receive information regarding a patient from the implanted medical device;

a video output; and

a processor,

the system configured to display data regarding the patient divided into a plurality of phases relevant to treatment comprising an onset phase, a therapy phase, and an end phase and simultaneously display overview data regarding a particular user-selected phase, the system configured to automatically change the type of overview data as the particular user-selected phase changes, wherein the overview data comprises at least one of average, maximum, or variance data; wherein when an onset phase is selected the overview data includes the average atrial rate and the average ventricular rate and when a therapy phase is selected the overview data includes ATP information; wherein the data displayed comprises data generated from an implanted sensor.

9. The medical system of claim 8 , the external medical system comprising an in-home monitoring system.

10. The medical system of claim 8 , the external medical system comprising a programmer/recorder/monitor (PRM) device.
