Synthesis of deuterated catechols and benzo[D][1,3]dioxoles and derivatives thereof
The present invention provides a convenient and efficient process for the synthesis of d 2 -benzo[d][1,3]dioxoles.
1. Deuterated paroxetine represented by the following structural formula or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
wherein the isotopic enrichment of the benzo[d][1,3]dioxole group with deuterium is at least 99.0%.
2. Deuterated paroxetine represented by the following structural formula or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
wherein the isotopic enrichment of the benzo[d][1,3]dioxole group with deuterium is at least 99.0%.
3. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the deuterated paroxetine of claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
4. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the deuterated paroxetine of claim 2 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
