Abstract

A system and method for binding a form through a JavaScript callback is disclosed herein. During a first session, inputted information in a form is bound with a plurality of JavaScript callbacks. When the session is closed and again reopened, the inputted form is called containing the information inputted from the first session.

Claims (17)

1. A method for binding a form through a JavaScript callback, the method comprising:

receiving a JavaScript callback for a form from a client-side at a server-side;

accessing a client Document Object Model associated with the form at the server-side; and

altering the client Document Object Model at the server-side by binding the form with information input at the client-side, wherein the binding is performed prior to completing the form.

2. A server for binding a form through a JavaScript callback, the server comprising a processing device and computer program instructions, wherein, when the processing device executes the computer program instructions, causes the server to:

retrieve an HTML document upon a request from a client-side;

analyze JavaScript of the HTML document;

bind a form of the HTML document with JavaScript callbacks to create a modified HTML document with a form with JavaScript callbacks, wherein the binding is performed prior to completing the form; and

transmit the modified HTML document with the JavaScript callbacks when the page is subsequently requested at the client-side.

3. A method for binding a form through a JavaScript callback, the method comprising:

requesting a webpage at a client-side to begin a first session, the webpage comprising a form;

inputting information into the form to create an inputted form;

binding the inputted form with a plurality of JavaScript callbacks;

closing the webpage prior to completing the form and ending the first session;

requesting the webpage on the client-side in a subsequent session;

receiving the webpage with the form at the client-side to begin the subsequent session; and

calling the inputted form for the subsequent session, the inputted form comprising the information inputted from the first session.
