Abstract

A bill deposit/withdrawal machine including a deposit/withdrawal port for delivering the bills deposited by users and discharging bills to users. The deposit/withdrawal port includes a bill hopper for accepting bills deposited by users and discharging bills to users, a delivering mechanism for delivering bills deposited by users, and a push plate operation mechanism for moving a push plate which forms an accepting unit and which supports bills. The bill hopper is movable by rotation operations with a bill delivering side as a fulcrum, and the delivering mechanism includes at least a gate controller which does not rotate in a delivering direction.

Claims (31)

1. A bill deposit/withdrawal machine comprising a deposit/withdrawal port for delivering the bills deposited by users and discharging bills to users, wherein said deposit/withdrawal port comprises at least:

a bill hopper for accepting bills deposited by users and discharging bills to users;

a delivering mechanism for delivering bills deposited by users; and

a push plate operation mechanism for moving a push plate which forms an accepting unit and which supports bills;

wherein said bill hopper is movable by rotation operations with a bill delivering side as a fulcrum; and

wherein said delivering mechanism comprises at least a gate controller which does not rotate in a delivering direction.

2. A bill deposit/withdrawal machine according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a bill discriminating unit for discriminating bills;

a temporary storage box for temporarily storing a bill deposited in said deposit/withdrawal port and discriminated by said bill discriminating unit;

a bill accepting unit for accepting deposited bills and bills for withdrawal;

wherein said bill discriminating unit is disposed behind said deposit/withdrawal port which is disposed on a front of said bill deposit/withdrawal machine;

wherein said temporary storage box is disposed behind said bill discriminating unit;

wherein said bill accepting unit is disposed below said deposit/withdrawal portion, said bill discriminating unit and said temporary storage box; and

wherein said deposit/withdrawal port includes a feeding port for sending bills one by one in said deposit/withdrawal port and an accepting port for stacking bills in said deposit/withdrawal port, said feeding port and said accepting port being individually provided; and

a first transport path for bidirectionally transporting bills between said temporary storage box and said bill accepting unit through said bill discriminating unit;

a second transport path for transporting bills from said feeding port of said deposit/withdrawal port onto said first transport path at a side of said bill accepting unit of said bill discriminating unit; and

a third transport path for transporting bills from said first transport path at a side of said temporary storage box of said bill discriminating unit to said accepting port of said deposit/withdrawal port.

3. A bill deposit/withdrawal machine according to claim 2 , wherein said bill discriminating unit is disposed below said deposit/withdrawal port and said temporary storage box.

4. A bill deposit/withdrawal machine comprising:

a deposit/withdrawal portion for performing deposit or withdrawal of bills;

a bill discriminating unit for discriminating bills;

a temporary storage box for temporarily storing a bill deposited in said deposit/withdrawal portion and discriminated by said bill discriminating unit;

a bill accepting unit for accepting deposited bills and bills for withdrawal;

wherein said bill discriminating unit is disposed behind said deposit/withdrawal portion which is disposed on a front of said bill deposit/withdrawal machine;

wherein said temporary storage box is disposed behind said bill discriminating unit;

wherein said bill accepting unit is disposed below said deposit/withdrawal portion, said bill discriminating unit and said temporary storage box; and

wherein said deposit/withdrawal portion includes a feeding port for sending bills one by one in said deposit/withdrawal portion and an accepting port for stacking bills in said deposit/withdrawal portion, said feeding port and said accepting port being individually provided;

a first transport path for bidirectionally transporting bills between said temporary storage box and said bill accepting unit through said bill discriminating unit;

a second transport path for transporting bills from said feeding port of said deposit/withdrawal portion onto said first transport path at a side of said bill accepting unit of said bill discriminating unit; and

a third transport path for transporting bills from said first transport path at a side of said temporary storage box of said bill discriminating unit to said accepting port of said deposit/withdrawal portion.

5. A bill deposit/withdrawal machine according to claim 4 , wherein said bill discriminating unit is disposed below said deposit/withdrawal portion and said temporary storage box.
