Abstract

A data retransmission method for retransmitting a data using a wireless communication, including: receiving data transmitted from a transmitting apparatus; determining whether the received data is correct or not; transmitting data including information indicating that the received data is received correctly to the transmitting apparatus upon being determined the received data is correct, and transmitting data including information indicating that the received data is not received correctly to the transmitting apparatus upon being determined the received data is not correct; measuring an elapsed time from transmission of the data including information indicating that the received data is not received correctly; and monitoring whether to receive data corresponding to the received data from the transmitting apparatus before the elapsed time reaches a predetermined time.

Claims (19)

1. A wireless communication method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless receiver, data transmitted from a wireless transmitter;

holding, by the wireless transmitter, the transmitted data;

transmitting, by the wireless receiver, notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not received correctly to the wireless transmitter, the notification data not protected by Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC);

transmitting, by the wireless receiver, data protected by Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) to the wireless transmitter when the wireless receiver cannot receive the held data from the wireless transmitter after the transmission of the notification data; and

retransmitting, by the wireless transmitter, the held data depending on the notification data to the wireless receiver based on the protected data.

2. A wireless communication system comprising:

a receiver that receives, at a wireless receiver, data transmitted from a wireless transmitter;

a holding unit that holds, at the wireless transmitter, the transmitted data; and

a transmitter that transmits, at the wireless receiver, notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not received correctly to the wireless transmitter, the notification data not protected by Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC), transmits, at the wireless receiver, data protected by Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) to the wireless transmitter when the wireless receiver cannot receive the held data transmitted from the wireless transmitter after the transmission of the notification data and retransmits, at the wireless transmitter, the held data depending on the notification data to the wireless receiver based on the protected data.

3. A wireless receiver comprising:

a receiver that receives data transmitted from a wireless transmitter, the transmitted data being held at the wireless transmitter; and

a transmitter that transmits notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not received correctly to the wireless transmitter, the notification data not protected by Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC), and transmits data protected by Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) to the wireless transmitter when the wireless receiver cannot receive the held data depending on the notification data after the transmission of the notification data.

4. The wireless receiver according to claim 3 , further the receiver receives the data from the wireless transmitter.

5. A wireless transmitter comprising:

a transmitter that transmits data to a wireless receiver; and

a receiver that receives notification data including information indicating that the transmitted data is not received correctly at the wireless receiver, the notification data not protected by Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) and receives data protected by Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) after transmission of the notification data;

wherein the transmitter that transmits the transmitted data depending on the notification data to the wireless receiver based on the protected data.

6. The wireless transmitter according to claim 5 , further a holding unit holds the data transmitted from the transmitter.
