Quick titration buttons are provided to allow improved navigation between various delivery display screens.

Claims (28)

1. A medical device operably connected to a medication management unit, the device comprising:

a display screen configured to display a first user interface,

the first user interface comprising:

a first display portion separately displaying a plurality of channel summary portions respectively corresponding to each channel of an infusion pump including a first channel summary portion and a second channel summary portion,

the first channel summary portion displaying first infusion parameters corresponding to a first fluid pump channel of the infusion pump and

the second channel summary portion displaying second infusion parameters corresponding to a second fluid pump channel of the infusion pump;

a second display portion separately displaying a plurality of channel programming portions respectively corresponding to each of the channels of the infusion pump including

a first channel programming portion including selectable screens for different first channel programming options and

a second channel programming portion including selectable screens for different second channel programming options,

wherein the first channel programming portion displaying programmable first infusion parameters corresponding to the first fluid pump channel of the infusion pump and the second channel programming portion displaying programmable second infusion parameters corresponding to the second fluid pump channel of the infusion pump, and

a third display portion separately displaying a plurality of channel alarm tabs corresponding to each of the channels of the infusion pump including a first channel alarm tab corresponding to the first fluid pump channel and a second channel alarm tab corresponding to the second fluid pump channel, each of the channel alarm tabs including a tab label portion and a tab content portion including an alarm description, and a direct alarm navigation link corresponding to a selected one of the plurality of channel alarm tabs, wherein the third display portion displays each of the tab label portions and only the tab content portion of the selected one of the plurality of channel alarm tabs;

wherein the first display portion, the second display portion, and the third display portion are simultaneously displayed on the first user interface and

wherein selection of the direct alarm navigation link of the selected one of the plurality of channel alarm tabs directly navigates the display screen to display a second user interface simultaneously displaying the first display portion, the second display portion, and the third display portion with the second display portion only displaying infusion parameters corresponding to the selected alarm navigation link of the selected one of the plurality of channel alarm tabs.

2. The medical device of claim 1 , wherein the second user interface further includes a clear alarm portion that returns the display screen back to the first user interface based on user interaction with the clear alarm portion.

3. The medical device of claim 1 , wherein the display screen remains on the first user interface for device level alarms.

4. The medical device of claim 1 , wherein the alarm description further includes text corresponding to status of the respective fluid pump channel.

5. A medical device method for managing a display screen of a medication management unit, the medical device method comprising:

displaying, on a first user interface, a first display portion that separately displays a plurality of channel summary portions respectively corresponding to each channel of an infusion pump including a first channel summary portion and a second channel summary portion,

the first channel summary portion displaying first infusion parameters corresponding to a first fluid pump channel of the infusion pump, and

the second channel summary portion displaying second infusion parameters corresponding to a second fluid pump channel of the infusion pump;

displaying, on the first user interface, a second display portion that separately displays a plurality of channel programming portions respectively corresponding to each of the channels of the infusion pump including:

a first channel programming portion including selectable screens for different first channel programming options, and

a second channel programming portion including selectable screens for different second channel programming options,

wherein the first channel programming portion separately displaying programmable first infusion parameters corresponding to the first fluid pump channel of the infusion pump and the second channel programming portion displaying programmable second infusion parameters corresponding to the second fluid pump channel of the infusion pump; and

displaying, on the first user interface, a third display portion including a plurality of channel alarm tabs corresponding to each of the channels of the infusion pump including a first channel alarm tab corresponding to the first fluid pump channel and a second channel alarm tab corresponding to the second fluid pump channel, each of the channel alarm tabs including a tab label portion and a tab content portion including an alarm description, and a direct alarm navigation link corresponding to a selected one of the plurality of channel alarm tabs,

wherein the third display portion separately displays each of the tab label portions and only the tab content portion of the selected one of the plurality of channel alarm tabs; and

wherein the first display portion, the second display portion, and the third display portion are simultaneously displayed on the first user interface, and

wherein selection of the direct alarm navigation link of the selected one of the plurality of channel alarm tabs directly navigates the display screen to a second user interface, said second user interface simultaneously displaying the first display portion, the second display portion, and the third display portion with the second display portion displaying only infusion parameters corresponding to the selected alarm navigation link of the selected one of the plurality of channel alarm tabs.
