Abstract
Pharmaceutical compositions of maleate salts of (6-(5-chloro-2-pyridyl)-5-[(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)carbonyloxy]-7-oxo-6,7-dihydro-5H-pyrrolo [3,4-b]pyrazine) are provided. The maleate salts are sleep agents useful in oral dosage forms.
Claims (2)
1. An oral pharmaceutical dosage form comprising a maleate salt of eszopiclone and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
2. An oral pharmaceutical dosage form according to claim 1 wherein said maleate salt of eszopiclone is of formula
