Abstract

Systems and methods for multiple client control are provided. In an aspect of the disclosure, a multiple client system is provided. The multiple client system comprises a master client and one or more slave clients. The master client comprises a remote access module configured to receive session data from a server via a remote access connection and a multi-client control module configured to deliver all or a portion of the session data received from the server to the one or more slave clients. Each of the one or more slave clients comprises a remote access module configured to connect to the master client via a communication network connection that is separate from the remote access connection between the master client and the server.

Claims (71)

1 . A system of a master client, comprising:

a remote access module configured to receive session data from a server via a remote access connection during a remote access session with the server; and

a multi-client control module configured to deliver all or a portion of the session data received from the server to one or more slave clients via one or more communication network connections.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the remote access module is configured to initiate the remote access session with the server.

3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the remote access module is configured to maintain the remote access connection with the server during the remote access session.

4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the session data includes display data of a desktop or an application running on the server.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more network connections include a LAN connection or a WAN connection.

6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the multi-client control module is configured to send all or the portion of the session data to the one or more slave clients based on a remote access protocol.

7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the multi-client control module is configured to receive response to the session data from the one or more slave clients based on a remote access protocol.

8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the multi-client control module is configured to maintain the one or more communication network connections with the one or more slave clients.

9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the multi-client control module is configured to pass setting data to each of the one or more slave clients.

10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the setting data to each of the one or more slave clients includes a network address of the master client.

11 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the setting data to each of the one or more slave clients can be set or overwritten by the multi-client control module or other mechanism.

12 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the session data received from the server includes display data and the multi-client control module is configured to divide the display data into a plurality of display regions, to display one of the plurality of display regions on a monitor of the master client, and to deliver the other plurality of display regions to the one or more slave clients for display on one or more monitors of the slave clients.

13 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the display data is of a desktop or an application running on the server during the remote access session.

14 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the multi-client control module is configured to divide the session data received from the server into portions, to render one of the portions of the session data using a local resource of the master client, and to deliver the other portions of the session data to the one or more slave clients for rendering the other portions of the session data using resources of the one or more slave clients.

15 . A multiple client control system, comprising:

a master client comprising:

a remote access module configured to receive session data from a server via a remote access connection; and

a multi-client control module; and

one or more slave clients, each of the one or more slave clients comprising:

a remote access module configured to connect to the master client via a communication network connection that is separate from the remote access connection between the master client and the server,

wherein the multi-client control module is configured to deliver all or a portion of the session data received from the server to the one or more slave clients.

16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the multi-client control module is configured to send setting data to the remote access module of each of the one or more slave clients.

17 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the session data received from the server includes display data and the multi-client control module is configured to divide the display data into a plurality of display regions, to display one of the plurality of display regions on a monitor of the master client, and to deliver the other plurality of display regions to the one or more slave clients, and wherein the remote access module of each of the one or more slave clients is configured to display one of the plurality of display regions received from the master client on a monitor of the slave client.

18 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the multi-client control module is configured to divide the session data received from the server into portions, to render one of the portions of the session data using a local resource of the master client, and to deliver the other portions of the session data to the one or more slave clients, and wherein the remote access module of each of the one or more slave clients is configured to render one of the portions of the session data received from the master client using a local resource of the slave client.

19 . A method, comprising:

receiving session data at a master client from a remote server via a remote access connection during a remote access session; and

delivering all or a portion of the session data received at the master client to one or more slave clients via one or more communication network connections.

20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the session data received from the server includes display data, further comprising:

dividing the display data into a plurality of display regions;

displaying one of the plurality of display regions on a monitor of the master client, and

delivering the other plurality of display regions to the one or more slave clients via the one or more communication network connections.

21 . The method of claim 20 , further comprising:

receiving the other of the plurality of display regions at the one or more slave clients; and

displaying the received other of the plurality of display regions on monitors of the slave clients.

22 . The method of claim 19 , further comprising:

dividing the session data received from the server into portions;

rendering one of the portions of the session data using a local resource of the master client; and

delivering the other portions of the session data to the one or more slave clients

23 . The method of claim 22 , further comprising:

receiving the other of the plurality of display regions at the one or more slave clients; and

rendering the receive other portions of the session data using local resources of the slave client.

24 . A system, comprising:

means for receiving session data at a master client from a remote server via a remote access connection during a remote access session; and

means for delivering all or a portion of the session data received at the master client to one or more slave clients via one or more communication network connections.

25 . The system of claim 24 , wherein the session data received from the server includes display data, further comprising:

means for dividing the display data into a plurality of display regions;

means for displaying one of the plurality of display regions on a monitor of the master client, and

means for delivering the other plurality of display regions to the one or more slave clients via the one or more communication network connections.

26 . The system of claim 25 , further comprising:

means for receiving the other of the plurality of display regions at the one or more slave clients; and

means for displaying the received other of the plurality of display regions on monitors of the slave clients.

27 . The system of claim 24 , further comprising:

means for dividing the session data received from the server into portions;

means for rendering one of the portions of the session data using a local resource of the master client; and

means for delivering the other portions of the session data to the one or more slave clients

28 . The system of claim 27 , further comprising:

means for receiving the other of the plurality of display regions at the one or more slave clients; and
