Abstract

Installation for treating a biological liquid, including a circulation pump ( 5 ), a filter element ( 9 ), a container for collecting treated liquid, a first circuit section connecting a source of said biological liquid to an inlet orifice of said filter element ( 9 ), including a circuit element adapted to cooperate with said circulation pump ( 5 ); a second circuit section, connecting an outlet orifice of said filter element ( 9 ) to said treated liquid collecting container; characterized in that said treated liquid collecting container, said first circuit section and said second circuit section are disposable and said installation further includes a first cart ( 1 ) carrying said pump ( 5 ) and a second cart ( 2 ) including a housing ( 14 ) for said collecting container, separable from the first cart ( 1 ) and adapted to be at least partly nested in said first cart ( 1 ).

Claims (23)

1. Installation for treating a biological liquid, including:

a circulation pump ( 5 );

a filter element ( 9 ; 50 );

a container for collecting treated liquid;

a first circuit section ( 60 ; 160 ) connecting a source ( 31 ) of said biological liquid to an inlet orifice ( 37 ; 49 ) of said filter element ( 9 ; 50 ), including a circuit element ( 8 a ) adapted to cooperate with said circulation pump ( 5 ) to circulate said biological liquid in said first circuit section ( 60 ; 160 ); and

a second circuit section ( 70 ), connecting an outlet orifice ( 38 ) of said filter element ( 9 ; 50 ) to said treated liquid collecting container;

characterized in that said treated liquid collecting container is a disposable bag ( 15 ), said first circuit section ( 60 ; 160 ) and said second circuit section ( 70 ) are disposable and said installation further includes:

a first cart ( 1 ) carrying said pump ( 5 ); and

a second cart ( 2 ) including a housing ( 14 ) for said collecting bag ( 15 ), separable from the first cart ( 1 ) and adapted to be at least partly nested in said first cart ( 1 ).

2. Installation according to claim 1 , characterized in that, when said second cart ( 2 ) is nested at least partly in said first cart ( 1 ), said housing ( 14 ) for said collecting bag ( 15 ) is positioned at least partly under said pump ( 5 ).

3. Installation according to either of claims 1 or 2 , characterized in that said first cart ( 1 ) includes a control panel ( 6 ) of said pump ( 5 ).

4. Installation according to any one of claims 1 or 2 , characterized in that said housing of said second cart ( 14 ) is formed by the interior of a drawer.

5. Installation according to claim 4 , characterized in that the front of said drawer ( 14 ) includes a notch ( 16 ) adapted to have a pipe of said second circuit section pass through it.

6. Installation according to any one of claims 1 , characterized in that the first cart ( 1 ) has a length less than that of the second cart ( 2 ).

7. Installation according to any one of claims 1 , characterized in that said first cart ( 1 ) has a globally parallelepiped shape open on one side and at the bottom to enable nesting of said second cart ( 2 ).

8. Installation according to any one of claims 1 , characterized in that said first circuit section ( 160 ) includes a pre-filter element ( 39 ) between the outlet orifice of said circulation pump ( 5 ) and the inlet orifice ( 49 ) of said filter element ( 50 ).

9. Installation according to any one of claims 1 , characterized in that it includes a third cart ( 3 ) including a support ( 22 ) for said filter element and an alternate housing ( 21 ; 23 ) for said collecting bag ( 15 ), said third cart ( 3 ) being adapted to be disposed between the first cart ( 1 ) and the second cart ( 2 ).

10. Installation according to claim 9 , characterized in that said third cart ( 3 ) is adapted to be nested at least partly in said first cart ( 1 ) and to be disposed side by side with the second cart ( 2 ).

11. Installation according to either of claims 9 or 10 , characterized in that said alternate housing is a tank on wheels ( 23 ) adapted to contain said bag ( 15 ).

12. Installation according to any one of claims 1 , characterized in that at least one of said carts includes a plurality of housings for a disposable bag.

13. Installation according to any one of claims 1 , characterized in that at least one of said carts includes a plate ( 17 ) sliding like a drawer and provided with a liquid evacuation plughole ( 20 ).

14. Installation according to any one of claims 1 , characterized in that each of said carts ( 1 , 2 , 3 ) is mounted on wheels.

15. Installation according to any one of claims 1 , characterized in that said second circuit section ( 70 ) includes a final filter element ( 11 ) between the outlet orifice ( 38 ) of said filter element ( 9 ; 50 ) and said collecting bag ( 15 ).
