Abstract

The present invention seeks to provide improved joint implants and methods relating to joint implantation.

Claims (2)

1 . A deformation control element for inclusion in the physical structure of a prosthetic implant body, comprising

one or more reinforcements positioned within said implant body operatively configured to modify externally applied force vectors, and constructed of a material having a hardness that is greater than that of the material forming said implant body.
