Abstract

Disclosed herein is a method comprising administering cyclosporin A topically to an eye of a person for the purpose of treating or preventing loss of vision from keratoconus.

Claims (6)

1. A method of treating impaired vision due to keratoconus, the method comprising topically administering to an eye of person having such impaired vision a composition comprising cyclosporin A.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition comprises about 0.005% to about 0.15% cyclosporin A by weight.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition comprises 0.005% to 0.15% cyclosporin A by weight.

4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the composition comprises 0.005% cyclosporin A by weight.

5. The method of claim 3 , wherein the composition comprises 0.02% cyclosporin A by weight.

6. The method of claim 3 , wherein the composition comprises 0.05% cyclosporin A by weight.
