Abstract

In a vehicular air conditioning apparatus, a first partitioning member and a second partitioning member are installed at a boundary position between a first cooling section and a second cooling section of an evaporator. The evaporator is separated into the first cooling section and the second cooling section by the first and second partitioning members. In the case that air is not blown in either one of the passages that are disposed in the first cooling section and the second cooling section, air that flows through the other of the passages is prevented from flowing into the one passage through the interior of the evaporator.

Claims (46)

1. A vehicular air conditioning apparatus including a casing having a plurality of passages through which air flows, cooling means disposed inside the casing for cooling air and supplying cooled air, heating means disposed inside the casing for heating air and supplying heated air, a damper mechanism for switching a flow state of the air in the passages, and a first blower and a second blower, which are connected to the casing for supplying the air to the inside of the casing, wherein the casing comprises:

a first passage to which the air from the first blower is supplied;

a second passage to which the air from the second blower is supplied;

a first heat exchanging section disposed in the cooling means and/or the heating means, which faces toward the first passage and performs cooling and/or heating of the air that flows through the first passage;

a second heat exchanging section disposed in the cooling means and/or the heating means, which faces toward the second passage and performs cooling and/or heating of the air that flows through the second passage;

separating means disposed between the first heat exchanging section and the second heat exchanging section in the cooling means and/or the heating means, for blocking flow of the air that has passed through the interior of the cooling means and/or the heating means; and

dividing walls that divide into the first passage and the second passage on an upstream side and a downstream side of the cooling means and/or the heating means and the dividing walls abut on the cooling means and/or the heating means,

wherein the separating means projects from both of an upstream surface and a downstream surface of the cooling means and/or the heating means, and abuts on the dividing walls on the upstream side and the downstream side of the cooling means and/or the heating means,

wherein ends of the separating means are inserted into recesses formed in ends of the dividing walls,

wherein the separating means abuts on the dividing walls such that a direction of a separating surface of the separating means overlaps with dividing surfaces of the dividing walls, and

wherein the separating means abuts on the dividing walls such that the dividing walls cover the separating means.

2. The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the separating means is disposed substantially parallel to a blowing direction of air that passes through the interior of the cooling means and/or the heating means.

The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the air supplied from the first blower through the first passage is supplied in a direction of a predetermined seat or a group of predetermined seats in the vehicle, and wherein the air supplied from the second blower through the second passage is supplied in a direction of another seats or a group of other seats in the vehicle.

The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the air supplied from the first blower through the first passage is supplied in a direction of a predetermined seat or a group of predetermined seats in the vehicle, and wherein the air supplied from the second blower through the second passage is supplied in a direction of another seat or a group of other seats in the vehicle.

A vehicular air conditioning apparatus including a casing having a plurality of passages through which air flows, cooling means disposed inside the casing for cooling air and supplying cooled air, heating means disposed inside the casing for heating air and supplying heated air, a damper mechanism for switching a flow state of the air in the passages, and a first blower and a second blower, which are connected to the casing for supplying the air to the inside of the casing, wherein the casing comprises:

a first passage to which the air from the first blower is supplied;

a second passage to which the air from the second blower is supplied;

a first heat exchanging section disposed in the cooling means and/or the heating means, which faces toward the first passage and performs cooling and/or heating of the air that flows through the first passage;

a second heat exchanging section disposed in the cooling means and/or the heating means, which faces toward the second passage and performs cooling and/or heating of the air that flows through the second passage;

separating means disposed between the first heat exchanging section and the second heat exchanging section in the cooling means and/or the heating means, for blocking flow of the air that has passed through the interior of the cooling means and/or the heating means; and

dividing walls that divide into the first passage and the second passage on an upstream side and a downstream side of the cooling means and/or the heating means and the dividing walls abut on the cooling means and/or the heating means, wherein

the air from the first blower is directed to the inside of the casing from a direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of the separating means,

the air from the second blower is directed to the inside of the casing from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the separating means,

the separating means protects from both of an upstream surface and a downstream surface of the cooling means and/or the heating means, and abuts on the dividing walls on the upstream side and the downstream side of the cooling means and/or the heating means,

ends of the separating means are inserted into recesses formed in ends of the dividing walls,

the separating means abuts on the dividing walls such that a direction of a separating surface of the separating means overlaps with dividing surfaces of the dividing walls, and

the separating means abuts on the dividing walls such that the dividing walls cover the separating means.

6. The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein the separating means is disposed substantially parallel to a blowing direction of air that passes through the interior of the cooling means and/or the heating means.

The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein the air supplied from the first blower through the first passage is supplied in a direction of a predetermined seat or a group of predetermined seats in the vehicle, and wherein the air supplied from the second blower through the second passage is supplied in a direction of another seat or a group of other seats in the vehicle.

The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the air supplied from the first blower through the first passage is supplied in a direction of a predetermined seat or a group of predetermined seats in the vehicle, and wherein the air supplied from the second blower through the second passage is supplied in a direction of another seat or a group of other seats in the vehicle.

A vehicular air conditioning apparatus including a casing having a plurality of passages through which air flows, cooling means disposed inside the casing for cooling air and supplying cooled air, heating means disposed inside the casing for heating air and supplying heated air, a damper mechanism for switching a flow state of the air in the passages, and a first blower and a second blower, which are connected to the casing for supplying the air to the inside of the casing, wherein the casing comprises:

a first passage to which the air from the first blower is supplied, the first passage being positioned on a front side of a vehicle;

a second passage to which the air from the second blower is supplied, the second passage being positioned on a rear side of the vehicle;

a first heat exchanging section disposed in the cooling means and/or the heating means, which faces toward the first passage and performs cooling and/or heating the air that flows through the first passage;

a second heat exchanging section disposed in the cooling means and/or the heating means, which faces toward the second passage and performs cooling and/or heating the air that flows through the second passage; and

separating means disposed in the cooling means and/or the heating means between the first heat exchanging section and the second heat exchanging section, for blocking flow of the air that has passed through the interior of the cooling means and/or the heating means; and

dividing walls that divide into the first passage and the second passage on an upstream side and a downstream side of the cooling means and/or the heating means and the dividing walls abut on the cooling means and/or the heating means,

wherein the separating means projects from both of an upstream surface and a downstream surface of the cooling means and/or the heating means, and abuts on the dividing walls on the upstream side and the downstream side of the cooling means and/or the heating means,

wherein ends of the separating means are inserted into recesses formed in ends of the dividing walls,

wherein the separating means abuts on the dividing walls such that a direction of a separating surface of the separating means overlaps with dividing surfaces of the dividing walls, and

wherein the separating means abuts on the dividing walls such that the dividing walls cover the separating means.

10. The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the separating means is disposed substantially parallel to a blowing direction of air that passes through the interior of the cooling means and/or the heating means.

11. The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the air supplied from the first blower through the first passage is supplied in a direction of a predetermined seat or a group of predetermined seats in the vehicle, and wherein the air supplied from the second blower through the second passage is supplied in a direction of another seat or a group of other seats in the vehicle.

The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the air supplied from the first blower through the first passage is supplied in a direction of a predetermined seat or a group of predetermined seats in the vehicle, and wherein the air supplied from the second blower through the second passage is supplied in a direction of another seat or a group of other seats in the vehicle.

13. The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the defroster blow-out port is formed by the dividing wall that divides the first passage from the second passage on the upstream side of the heater core forms.

14. The vehicular air conditioning apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the dividing wall that divides the first passage from the second passage on the upstream side of the heater core forms the defroster blow-out port.
