Abstract

White particles for display including at least one of a chain or cyclic polysilane compound having a polysilane structure represented by the following Formula (I) or a halogen-substituted compound thereof: wherein in Formula (I), A represents a phenyl group, B represents an alkyl group or a phenyl group, and n represents an integer of from 5 to 1000.

Claims (10)

1. White particles for electrophoresis display comprising at least one of a cyclic polysilane compound having a structure represented by the following Formula (I-2A) or a halogen-substituted compound thereof:

wherein the white particles have a volume average particle size of from 0.1 μm to 5 μm.

2. A particle dispersion for electrophoresis display comprising the white particles for electrophoresis display according to claim 1 and a dispersing medium for dispersing the white particles for electrophoresis display.

3. White particles for electrophoresis display comprising at least one of a chain or cyclic polysilane compound having a polysilane structure represented by the following Formula (I) or a halogen-substituted compound thereof, and a resin:

wherein in Formula (I), A represents a phenyl group, B represents an alkyl group or a phenyl group, and n represents an integer of from 5 to 1000, and

the white particles have a volume average particle size of from 0.1 μm to 5 μm.

4. The white particles for electrophoresis display according to claim 3 , wherein the resin is a silicone resin.

The white particles for electrophoresis display according to claim 3 , wherein the amount of the at least one of a chain or cyclic polysilane compound having a polysilane structure represented by Formula (I) or a halogen-substituted compound thereof is from 3 to 99% by weight with respect to the amount of the resin.

The white particles for electrophoresis display according to claim 3 , wherein the amount of the at least one of a chain or cyclic polysilane compound having a polysilane structure represented by Formula (I) or a halogen-substituted compound thereof is from 10 to 70% by weight with respect to the amount of the resin.

7. A particle dispersion for electrophoresis display comprising the white particles for electrophoresis display according to claim 3 and a dispersing medium for dispersing the white particles for electrophoresis display.
