Image forming apparatus and image forming method

1. An image forming apparatus, comprising:

an information storage section configured to store image information and attribute information corresponding to the image information;

an operation section that includes an instruction section through which a user inputs instructions for execution of a process on the image information;

an image condition information storage section configured to store image condition information that corresponds to the process and that the attribute information must satisfy when the process is executed;

a comparison section in communication with the information storage section and the image condition information storage section and configured to compare the attribute information with the stored image condition information; and

an operation control section in communication with the operation section and the comparison section and configured to change a state of the instruction section based on results of a comparison of the attribute information and the stored image condition information by the comparison section.

2. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation control section is further configured to restrict the user's operation of the instruction section.

3. The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the operation control section is configured to selectively disable the instruction section.

4. The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the operation control section is configured to notify the user of an error during operation of the instruction section.

5. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the image condition information is changeable.

6. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the image forming apparatus is configured to receive the image information and the attribute information from an external device connected thereto.

7. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the image forming apparatus is configured to receive the image information from an external device connected thereto and to subsequently generate the attribute information.

8. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the attribute information is updatable.

9. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation section includes a display.

10. The image forming apparatus according to claim 9 , further comprising an additional display condition information storage section configured to store additional display condition information corresponding to the process;

wherein the comparison section is further configured to compare the attribute information with the additional display condition information.

11. The image forming apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the operation section is configured to display additional information on the display based on results of a comparison between the attribute information and the additional display condition information.

12. A method of forming an image at an image forming apparatus, comprising:

storing image information and attribute information corresponding to the image information;

receiving instructions input by a user for execution of a process on the image information;

storing image condition information that corresponds to the process and that the attribute information must satisfy when the process is executed;

comparing the attribute information with the stored image condition information; and

changing a state of the receiving of instructions based on results of the comparing of the attribute information with the stored image condition information.

13. The method according to claim 12 , wherein the changing of a state of the receiving of instructions further comprises restricting the receiving of instructions input by a user in response to the changing of a state of the receiving of instructions.

14. The method according to claim 13 , further comprising notifying the user of an error during the receiving of instructions input by a user and subsequent to the restricting of the receiving of instructions input by a user.

15. The method according to claim 12 , wherein the changing of a state of the receiving of instructions further comprises selectively disabling the receiving of instructions input by a user.

16. An image forming apparatus, comprising:

an operation section that includes an instruction section through which a user inputs instructions for execution of a process on image information;

a comparison section configured to compare attribute information that corresponds to the image information with stored image condition information that corresponds to the process and that the attribute information must satisfy when the process is executed; and

an operation control section in communication with the operation section and the comparison section and configured to change a state of the instruction section based on results of a comparison of the attribute information and the stored image condition information by the comparison section.

17. The image forming apparatus according to claim 16 , wherein the operation control section is further configured to restrict operation of the instruction section by the user.

18. The image forming apparatus according to claim 16 , further comprising:

a display included in the operation section; and

an additional display condition information storage section configured to store additional display condition information corresponding to the process,

wherein the comparison section is further configured to compare the attribute information with the additional display condition information.

19. The image forming apparatus according to claim 18 , wherein the operation section is configured to display additional information on the display based on results of a comparison between the attribute information and the display condition information.
