Search and storage engine having variable indexing for information associations and predictive modeling
An engine, system and method for predicting a rating of a mention on the Internet. The engine, system and method include a search engine that crawls the Internet for the mentions of ones of a plurality of analysis topics, and that downloads the feeds located in accordance with the crawl, a repository for storing the located feeds mentioning ones of the analysis topics, an open rules input for entry of a plurality of rules, provided in parallel to the search engine and the repository, wherein each of the plurality of rules is applicable to perform at least one manipulation on a respective one of the analysis topics, wherein the at least one manipulation at least results in at least one first rating of the respective one of the analysis topic, and a predictive engine that, in accordance with the at least one manipulation and at least one environmental circumstance, generates a predictive rating of the respective one of the least one analysis topic, wherein the predictive rating is different than the at least one first rating
1 . An engine for predicting a rating of a mention on the Internet, comprising:
a search engine that crawls the Internet for the mentions of ones of a plurality of analysis topics, and that downloads the feeds located in accordance with the crawl;
a repository for storing the located feeds mentioning ones of the analysis topics;
an open rules input for entry of a plurality of rules, provided in parallel to said search engine and said repository, wherein each of the plurality of rules is applicable to perform at least one manipulation on a respective one of the analysis topics, wherein the at least one manipulation at least results in at least one first rating of the respective one of the analysis topic; and
a predictive engine that, in accordance with the at least one manipulation and at least one environmental circumstance, generates a predictive rating of the respective one of the least one analysis topic, wherein the predictive rating is different than the at least one first rating.
2 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein the manipulation comprises at least one of a sequencing, a numeric manipulation, a data manipulation, and a statistical assessment.
3 . The engine of claim 2 , wherein the sequencing comprises a catalog of known DNA sequences.
4 . The engine of claim 3 , wherein the predictive rating comprises a prediction of unknown DNA sequences.
5 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein the at least one first rating comprises a numeric rating.
6 . The engine of claim 5 , wherein the numeric rating is cumulative for multiple ones of the mentions.
7 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein ones of the plurality of rules comprise a map reduction index.
8 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein ones of the plurality of rules comprise at least one template.
9 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein the environmental circumstance includes a field of endeavor of a subject of the analysis topic.
10 . The engine of claim 9 , wherein the field of endeavor comprises athletics.
11 . The engine of claim 10 , wherein the environmental circumstances further comprise on-field performance.
12 . The engine of claim 11 , wherein the predictive rating comprises a buzz rating for the athlete.
13 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein the generation of the predictive rating comprises a prediction performed at least one of mathematically, statistically, heuristically, experimentally, experientially, and by artificial intelligence.
14 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein the predictive rating comprises a rating per geography.
15 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein the predictive rating comprises a rating per time.
16 . The engine of claim 1 , wherein the predictive rating comprises a likely outcome.
17 . The engine of claim 16 , wherein the likely outcome is one of a win or a loss of a sporting event.
18 . The engine of claim 17 , wherein the environmental circumstance comprises past wins and losses when similarly positioned.
19 . The engine of claim 16 , wherein the likely outcome comprises a probability percentage.
20 . The engine of claim 1 , further comprising an advertising deliver server, wherein a price of an endorser for use in an advertisement delivered from the advertising delivery server is affected by the predictive rating of an analysis topic associated with the endorser.
21 . An engine for providing at least one advertisement endorsed by an endorser, comprising:
a search engine that crawls the Internet for the mentions of ones of the endorser, and that downloads the feeds located in accordance with the crawl;
a repository for storing the located feeds;
a plurality of rules, input to said search engine and to said repository, wherein each of the plurality of rules is applicable to at least set pricing for use of the endorser in the at least one advertisement, wherein the pricing is in accordance with at least one first rating of the mentions of the endorser; and
a predictive engine that, in accordance with at least one environmental circumstance that affects the endorser, generates a predictive rating of as-yet to occur ones of the mentions, wherein the predictive rating modifies the pricing.
