Abstract

Provided is a radio communication device which can make ACK reception quality and NACK reception quality to be equal to each other. The device includes: a scrambling unit ( 214 ) which multiplies a response signal after modulated, by a scrambling code “1” or “e−j(p/2)” so as to rotate a constellation for each of response signals on a cyclic shift axis; a spread unit ( 215 ) which performs a primary spread of the response signal by using a ZAC sequence set by a control unit ( 209 ); and a spread unit ( 218 ) which performs a secondary spread of the response signal after subjected to the primary spread, by using a block-wise spread code sequence set by the control unit ( 209 ).

Claims (23)

1. A radio communication apparatus comprising:

a spreading unit configured to spread control information with a sequence defined by one of cyclic shift values;

a scrambling unit configured to multiply the control information by 1 or e j(π/2) depending on whether an index of a resource is odd or even, wherein the cyclic shift value is determined from the index of the resource used for transmission of the control information; and

a transmitting unit configured to transmit the control information spread and multiplied by 1 or e j(π/2) .

2. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said scrambling unit multiplies the control information by 1 or e j(π/2) depending on the cyclic shift value.

3. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said scrambling unit multiplies the control information by 1 or e j(π/2) depending on the sequence defined by the cyclic shift value.

4. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a second spreading unit configured to secondarily spread the control information spread and multiplied by 1 or e j(π/2) with one of orthogonal sequences, wherein said transmitting unit transmits the secondarily spread control information and the orthogonal sequence is determined from the index of the resource.

5. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein a plurality of the resources from which the same orthogonal sequence is determined are indexed by the indices that are contiguous in the direction in which the cyclic shift value is shifted.

6. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein said scrambling unit selects 1 or e j(π/2) depending on the cyclic shift value in a plurality of the resources from which the same orthogonal sequence is determined.

7. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein said scrambling unit selects 1 and e j(π/2) alternately each time the cyclic shift value is shifted by a predefined amount in a plurality of the resources from which the same orthogonal sequence is determined.

8. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein said scrambling unit selects 1 in one of two resources and selects e j(π/2) in the other of the two resources, wherein the same orthogonal sequence is determined from the two resources, and two cyclic shift values that are closest to each other are respectively determined from the two resources.

9. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein said second spreading unit block-wise spreads the control information using the orthogonal sequence.

10. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said spreading unit uses a sequence having a length 12 as the sequence defined by the cyclic shift value.

11. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein said second spreading unit uses a sequence having a length 4 as the orthogonal sequence.

12. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a control channel used for transmission of the control information is mapped to the resource, and the cyclic shift value is determined from the control channel.

13. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a control channel used for transmission of the control information is mapped to the resource, and the cyclic shift value is determined from a resource index of the control channel.

14. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said scrambling unit multiplies the control information by e j(π/2) so as to rotate a constellation for the control information by 90 degrees.

15. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the control information is a response signal of ACK or NACK.

16. The radio communication apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a modulating unit configured to modulate the control information with BPSK or QPSK, wherein said spreading unit spreads the modulated control information and said scrambling unit multiplies the modulated control information by 1 or e j(π/2) .

17. A constellation controlling method comprising:

spreading control information with a sequence defined by a cyclic shift value;

multiplying the control information by 1 or e j(π/2) depending on whether an index of a resource is odd or even, wherein the cyclic shift value is determined from the index of the resource used for transmission of the control information; and

transmitting the control information spread and multiplied by 1 or e j(π/2) .
