INFORMATION PROCESSING TERMINAL AND RECORDER/PLAYER
Disclosed is an information processing terminal that is capable of receiving television and other broadcasts and providing increased user-friendliness. The information processing terminal, which is capable of communicating with another device; comprising a broadcast receiver which receives a broadcast signal that contains program identification information for specifying a program and/or program scene identification information for specifying a scene of the program and the video information of the program; a display which outputs the broadcast signal that is received by the broadcast receiver; and a storage which extracts the program identification information and/or program scene identification information from the broadcast signal received by the broadcast receiver and stores the extracted information while the display outputs the video information.

15 . A mobile terminal capable of communicating with an external recorder/player and controlling a reproduction of video information of a program stored in the external recorder/player, comprising:
a broadcast receiver which receives a broadcast signal that contains video information of a program and information about the program;
a display which displays the video information received by the broadcast receiver;
a storage which extracts a part of the video information as program identification image information and stores the program identification image information associated with the information about the program when a recording instruction is inputted by a user of the mobile terminal while the video information is being displayed by the display;
a transmitter which transmits information to the external recorder/player; and
a controller which controls the display so as to display the program identification image information stored in the storage and the transmitter so as to transmit the information about the program associated with the program identification image information to the external recorder/player when a reproduction instruction is inputted by the user after the program identification image information displayed by the display has been selected by the user.
16 . The mobile terminal according to claim 15 , wherein the transmitter transmits a recording instruction with the information about the program to the external recorder/player when the recording instruction is inputted by the user.

The mobile terminal according to claim 16 , further comprising a receiver which receives information from the external recorder/player, wherein the receiver receives information about a rebroadcast of the program and the controller controls the display so as to display the information about the rebroadcast of the program.
18 . The mobile terminal according to claim 15 , wherein the information about the program is information that indicates a program ID, a program title, a broadcast channel or a broadcast time zone.
19 . The mobile terminal according to claim 15 , wherein the program identification image information is still picture information.
